5.0 out of 5 stars The Knights Conquest, October 12, 2003

I liked this book very much. It was a very touching love story and down to earth. The hero was very dashing and loving ,the herione was hurt by her past but came to understand the hero and to love him. Information about the time era was authentic. There were no mistress or any one trying to make trouble for our lovers which I foung very refreshing. This is a very lovely and touching love story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice story, great hero., April 14, 2007

Love the hero, nice gentle story. As said by the other reviewers this was a refreshing read because the hero was so focused and in love with the heroine and there were no outside influences to cause a rift. No other women, no harshness, etc, from him. Worth reading, will make you feel good. The only problem I had with it and I guess it's because it's a Harlequinn was the lack of more descriptive sex. But thats just a personal preference and I still enjoyed the story without it.

4.0 out of 5 stars synopsis, July 22, 2007
Proud and beautiful, she would be no man's prize! To the victor the spoils...Offered as the delectable prize at a jousting tournament by the King, the proud and beautiful Lady Eloise Gerrard is far from gaining the freedom to command her own destiny that she so ardently desires. Shocked to discover the King has every intention of winning the prize for himself, Eloise turns in desperation to the challenger. Sir Owain of Whitecliffe had once awoken all her youthful passions...and then heartlessly deserted her. Can she truly now wish to see him the victor - the conqueror laying claim to his prize?

I totally agree with the other review. It was a totally refreshing book to read and will read more of her books based on this one. This is the first book I have seen or read by this author. I like to read a book by an author before buying any more, and if I like it try to buy all of the books available by that author.
