Very nice older game which includes the original game Shattered Kingdoms. The graphics aren't up to today's standards, but they are crisp and clean and still hold up well. Nice soundtrack and fun gameplay make this a winner with lots of replay ability. Do not pay $100 to some of the people selling the hard copy of this game. It is indeed very rare, but if you do a search for it, you can find a ton of sites that you can download the game from for under 10 bucks.

I originally got this game not long after it came out, and absolutely loved it. Then somewhere along the line I lost it, only to come across this version years later online. I bought it again, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I still loved it! Yes, the graphics are not up to today's standards, but they're still pretty dang good. The attention to detail is great. This isn't like going back and playing Atari, Knights and Merchants is an exciting, challenging game, with good sound effects and music. Anyone under 21 and used to World of Warcraft style graphics and effects would probably not be overly impressed, but if you're an older gamer, try this game! I get lost in it for hours and hours, trying to build the best town I can and fight off the enemy...probably not that great for my life in general, but definitely a sign of how fun this game is!
