I love the patterns in this book! Especially the one on the cover which features pockets. I have knitted a number of prayer shawls and own a number of books on the subject. I find this publication to be my favorite. I just delivered the book cover featured shawl to a friend this afternoon she was overwhelmed as the shawl turned out beautifully.

I am knitting prayer shawls for a ministry at our church and wanted something different than what I've been making. I am a beginner so pick the easy ones and this one on the cover is a pleasure to work on. The other patterns are going to be tried also when I gain a little more experience. Very good book!

Well done, the idea of prayer shawls has completely engaged me and the book does a good job of describing this ministry.

There are lots of books on the market about how to knit prayer shawls. I found that this one had beautiful patterns even if you are a beginning knitter, which I was. I knitted the prayer shawl on the cover and did it in the same color. It turned out beautifully! This book also includes samples of prayers that you might use when giving this shawl as a gift. Many of the other prayer shawl books do not have these examples so you must write a prayer on your own. I have recommended this book to fellow knitters confident that they will be able to knit the shawls.

Wonderful book for all of us Prayer Shawl Makers. I needed a few different patterns and they were used also by the other 14 members of our group. Lovely.

I have made about half of the shawl projects in this book. In fact, I have made half a dozen of the pattern pictured on the cover. LOVE the patterns. Probably the best money I ever spent on a knitting pattern book.

The patterns are too lovely for words. My pastor and myself, when the time is free, will start knitting some shawls and when they are done. She'll bless them and give them to the sick and shut it of our church.

I already began to make one of the prayer shawls contained in this book. When I shared it with the members of our Praye Shawl Ministry, they were verr pleased with the directions and patterns contained in this book.

I did not received this item and was never notified by the independent seller. After I wrote an inquiry e-mail was when I got a response that the item was no longer available. I will think twice before ordering an item form an independent seller.
