Although currently out of print, I highly recommend this book to anyone who knits. If you like to "tweak" patterns or create designs from scratch, you will find everything you need to know here.

Not only is the math included, but very clear, easy to understand graphics help the "math challenged" visualize the concepts.

The Knitters Guide exceeds the high standards of Interweave Press. I hope they choose to re-print this book ... no updates or changes are needed. There is a whole new generation of knitters who need this information.

I collect any knitting books that help me create designs. Several people recommended I purchase this book and I am very glad I did. It has loads of great design information in it!

I have only been knitting for a few years, but with this book, not only am I able to figure out how to alter patterns to fit myself, but I am able to design my own sweaters. I am so grateful to have been gifted this book. As a retired science teacher there is only one improvement I would make and that is that all calculations should include units. I write them in as I go. There is a terrific section in the back on techniques. I use it constantly. I can't believe it is out of print.

When I ordered this book, the caption said it was in excellent condition with no marking in it. I received the book on schedule and it was everything the caption said. It is in excellent shape and a good buy.
