I have been trying to learn how to knit for a few years now. My roomate at college tried to teach me how. The problem is that I don't know what to do on my knitting project, after I graduated and never see my roomate again. So I have a half-finished project that have been sitting in my basement for almost 2 years now. I picked up this book because it looked less intimidating than other knitting books. I started knitting right away once I got home. So far, I have done 2 projects and going to do some more! I LOVE THIS BOOK! It is the EASIEST knitting book EVER! Don't let the negative review throw you off. Get this book and start knitting already! :)

I am in my late 20's. I have read through a couple of "learn-how-to-knit" books. They have been so confusing and hard to follow. I bought this book for my 7 year old, but I used it more than her. All the projects are explained very well and the pictures are very helpful. Everything is simple and easy to follow. The kit comes with everything you need to complete a lot of the projects. For beginners it is a great start. Eventually, you would need to learn how to read patterns and more complicated instructions; but for now this book is a great start for young and old.

I'm a 37 year old mother. I bought the book because the adult learn how to knit books where just too complicated. This book is easy to understand, the illustrations are easy to follow...the project are cute.
The needles, latch hook, buttons and the book itself are all of quality. Makes a great gift for a young girl. This has also been a nice way of bonding with my 11 year old... We've enjoyed the book immensely.
