3.0 out of 5 stars It's okay, March 26, 2009
This review is from: Knitting and Tea: 25 Classic Knits and the Teas That Inspired Them (Hardcover)
I was excited about this book, but there aren't many things I want to actually make. The photography is lovely and the recipies look delicious. Great eye candy but there are better knitting patterns and books out there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Glad I bought it, could have done without it, May 7, 2009
This review is from: Knitting and Tea: 25 Classic Knits and the Teas That Inspired Them (Hardcover)
I bought this book because I am looking for a top down cricket sweater pattern which this isn't. I do however like the pattern of the one on the cover. I was very happy when the book came and the tea recipes were really an added bonus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning photos and great knitting patterns too!, April 2, 2009

This review is from: Knitting and Tea: 25 Classic Knits and the Teas That Inspired Them (Hardcover)
This was an impulse purchase. I was in the middle of reading Mason-Dixon Knits blog when this book was mentioned. They (Kay and Ann) kindly provided a link to Amazon, and within minutes I had purchased another knitting book. Upon its arrival, I first leafed through looking for the photos of finished knitting items, but ended up making time for reading the entire book. The photos were stunning, the text was well written, and those patterns! Yum! If you're a knitter, at whatever level there are patterns in here that will appeal to you. And if you're a knitter that enjoys a cuppa tea while plying your needles, this book will enlighten and entertain as well! Go get it!!!
