This guide takes you through every step of the resume writing process and provides you with important tools to make sure that your resume makes it through the job filters and gets the attention of the person making the hiring decisions. I was most impressed with the how up to date the information was and the down to earth style of writing. It is encouraging while matter of fact.

This book was wonderful! I've been in a management role for multiple years and the ideas in this book helped me determine what I should be looking for. The information listed in the book was spot on and spoke to the reader in volumes in just a few short pages.

For job hunters of all ages this book is valuable. It provides a comprehensive guide to thinking about your experience, defining your personal brand and translating it into a resume that will get attention. The text and 100 sample resumes are up to date and should help the majority of searchers find a style and sample text in their field. As with Martin Yate's other books, he sticks to the basics, culling out extraneous information or things that a logical person can deduce on their own.

I found this book to be very helpful with career advancement goals. I was able to take some of the examples from the text & work them into my own words & skill sets to establish a winning resume.

This is the only book you need to write a resume just like a professional. It's clear and concise. If you just follow the outline you can't go wrong. There is on-line help and links to other sites. Of course Amazon great service....

Good book for helping to create great Resumes to get a job. Very helpful to get a great resume that is eye catching for mailing, or e-mailing and tips on following up once resume is sent.

For years, I have created resumes for people. I use this book all the time to look for good buzz words. I don't read the editorial content. I mainly look at the created resumes and glean from them. This is the second "Knock 'em Dead Resumes" book that I've bought. I always have it at my side when writing resumes. Then, I write "Knock 'em Dead" resumes for my friends.
