I admit the serious but sarcastic personality of Knock Knock products speaks to me. After using this organizer a few months, however, I'll take the good contents and find another company (or DIY) an organizer that uses much better quality pieces. The organizational layout and tools, incl. product life expectation, business card holder, ruler, pocket dividers with pre-made tabs, etc. are super. The fact fact most everything is made of paper and cheaply-made plastic adhesive is not. The paper pockets tear easily (as you'd expect paper to), the plastic coating is peeling off the corners and sides and the pen holder broke off weeks ago. I'm not a construction foreman, just a person managing a mix of home maintenance and modest interior/exterior repair work and landscaping. I simply asked too much of this binder; it's just not up to the task quality-wise. Seems more like a draft or model example than a well-made tool.

Bottom line: The contents are well thought-out and all here for the purpose. It's likely fine for years if it sits on a shelf in one location as a holder for the names of your home service folks or when the random repair is needed, but as workbook to manage a set of ongoing tasks it falls apart.

Just picked up one of these along with the take-out menu organizer. It's pretty cool, very sturdy, durable, and helps you organize any project you want to do. Great gift idea for the OCD/Organizationally Psychotic friend!

Good Job Job Knock Knock!

I looked and looked for something like this - someplace to keep everything organized for the condo I'm buying - and no one in any bookstores even knew what I was talking about. But I was sure this had to exist somewhere! And of course, it's from Knock Knock! I have their "All out of..." grocery list which I love. This is a great binder, filled with all the extras - a tablet of "projects to do" lists and a pen and dividers with pockets on them AND best of all, a whole sheet of labels to choose from with which to label the dividers. (I was afraid they'd come pre-labeled with things I didn't need categories for...) There's 9 dividers and about 30 labels, so I can organize away! I really wanted something to contain all of my home projects information. There are a few things I wish it had, but for the most part it's very handy and helpful. I think it needs some zip pockets of some sort but I can buy some at the Office store and add it. I also wish it were a bit bigger of a binder so I could add all of my warranty papers. Those get thick and I'd love for them all to be in the appliances section. Other than that, I like the book and I'm happy with the purchase.
