This is the original album, not a compilation!, December 8, 2001
As far as I know, this is the only place to find Eddie's delightful covers of "But It's Alright" (J.J. Jackson), "I Don't Want To Cry" (Chuck Jackson), and "If You Gotta Make A Fool Of Somebody" (James Ray), all better than the originals in my opinion. Plus of course his classic soul smash "Knock On Wood", and the lesser hit "Raise Your Hand".
Anyone who likes good old southern soul: get this album!
