It is a self-contained portable wet-dry vacuum system. It uses water as a filter media in a tank. When the vacuum system is turned on there is an agitation of air and water in the tank. When you vacuum up dust or small debris it gets trapped in the water, which stops the dust from blowing out of the vacuum and back into the air!
With this system you can vacuum up wood ashes, flour, sugar, hair from barber shops or salons, dry-wall dust, saw dust, lint from clothes dryers, etc. It can be connected directly to wood working hand tools (i.e. palm sanders, orbital sanders, belt sanders). Bench type tools, spindle sanders, even grinders for metal can be connected.
All the mess goes into the tank of water. When you are done, just open the valve and empty the tank down the drain or in a bucket, rinse it out-that's it. No more having to lift the sloppy wet-dry vacuum tank and dump it out and then having to wash it out and dump it again.
Included with each order is 15 feet of 1.5" vacuum hose, mounting hardware lag screws. It uses approximately 2.5 gallons of water as a filter. The tank will hold 10 gallons but you need only 2.5 gallons. It will trap dry-wall dust, wood dust. If you have ever vacuumed up lint you know how hard it is to clean the filter off. Well with the Know-Dust system it stays in the water. When you are done you just open the drain- rinse the tank- and your done till the next time. No more expensive filters to buy. And with this system there is not any whistling.
