I've been in the field of child abuse for over 30 years, as a couselor and trainer. I'm delighted to have discovered Know & Tell and I have been recommending to parents, and other health care professionals. This workbook is warm, friendly, and full of good information about how children can feel safe in a sometimes scary world--especially having family rules for "what if" situations both in and out of the home. Know & Tell does a great job of presenting often hard-to-discuss subjects in an easy-to-understand and positive way. I especially like the way the author presents the information on two levels -- one side of the page has suggestions for parents to educate their children and the facing page has exercises for children think about and do. A very useful book!
