5.0 out of 5 stars The Master..., May 15, 2000
This review is from: You Know That Feeling (Audio CD)
Goodbye is a tribute to Brian's late father. It's haunting and perfect. (The music) being out of key puts the listener in tune with the bitter sweet reality that death is a part of life. Brian is a master at creating "....that feeling."

5.0 out of 5 stars top down, t-tops off summer fun CD., July 19, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: You Know That Feeling (Audio CD)
Sweeeeet CD, I really enjoy the jamming song 'Joe Cool', By The Fireplace is as relaxing as sitting by a cozy fireplace. The song includes Everett Harp on Tenor Sax. Hero has a nice intro and includes Rick Braun (Trumpet & Flugehorn). Take the T-tops off, convertable tops down, and find an open road and enjoy this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars A master of many dimensions, October 26, 1998

After hearing Brian and Stanley Jordan at the Jazz Bakery, I immediately bought this CD. Some of his work is not possible to describe, you must experience it. As a fellow musician, I can only dream to play this well.

5.0 out of 5 stars RYTHM, FEELING & BASS MASTER ONCE AGAIN FOR MORE, October 3, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: You Know That Feeling (Audio CD)
This is a magic album, showing the master touch of Mr. Bromberg for jazz music and combining his feeling with a lot of rythm and very difficult sequences using his different line of basses according to every masterpiece developed during the album process. Congratulations for Brian Bromberg once again and thanks for giving us the pleasure to hear something delightfull! The END

5.0 out of 5 stars subtle genius, July 13, 1999
This review is from: You Know That Feeling (Audio CD)
After hearing "Hero", dedicated to one of my favorite artists, Zachary Breaux, on the radio, I felt compelled to buy this CD. Often the "radio song" is the only good piece on the work, but let me assure you that this is not the case here! A stellar, upbeat remake of Earth Wind and Fire's "September" leads the rest of the songs, which cover a variety of moods from the reflective to "just showing off"... I like this disc more with each successive pass-through.

After listening to this CD you'll want to throw you bass out the window. Brian is a masterful musical magician. He makes it seem so easy. You'll love this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars He boldly goes where no one has gone before., April 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: You Know That Feeling (Audio CD)
I am out of stars, rating-stars that is. The last album was a 5-star and this one is even better. There's a song for every feeling you may have, the up beat "Joe Cool", the emotional "Goodbye", the excellent interpretation of "September" and "Human". And when you hear your special song, you will know that feeling. The record gets to you the more you listen to it. There are so many magic things he puts in his songs, that you can't possibly note them the first time you hear it, that's why the songs will get better and better. Now if you need a friend, get the album and share your feelings with it, because it will.

A variety of feelings and mostly original work on this CD. I can't believe he plays this stuff on the bass (isn't he missing 2 strings?). I can't get September out of my head it makes me feel so good!

I am looking for his Brian Bromberg "Magic Rain" cd. I know it is no longer being sold, but any ideas where I can get a copy? I need to find it, and have had no luck.
