More About the Author

Paul J Kenyon was born and raised in Olean, New York 1n 1952, moved to Arizona in 1975, and returned to Olean in 1999. He was 21 years old and starting a family when he was thrust headlong into the paranormal after reading a story in a local newspaper. He began writing of his experiences in 1975, but shelved the idea until returning to New York. He now spends much of his time honing his writing skills at the age of 59. Paul's interests include, music, photography, video editing and playing the drums for the past 45 years.

This is one of the best books I have purchased in a long while. To the people who have read the book "Twilight", this book is a read much like that. Once you pick it up and begin reading it, you find yourself saying just one more page just one page until it is 3 hours later. If you like books about the paranormal, true stories, or haunted houses then you should read this book. The details are so vivid that you will begin thinking you are there.

One of the best haunt books i've read in a very long time. As a long time Olean, NY folk myself, i never knew what it was really about till i picked up this book (although i had heard bits here and there, just never the full force that this book has created). Mr. Kenyon very well details of events made this a classic in my heart, however, the down side is that not everything was put into the book after reading Clara's book, however, it doesnt hurt it at all, just wish some of the events from her book was in Mr. Kenyon's book. Anyways, this is a truly high reccomended book and will sure to bring back memories of Olean, NY old timers as well.

Paul, A great job on this. Thanks for the autograph and message. Really enjoyed the book. It had the right amount of spookieness and I loved the mention of some beloved old Olean places, i.e Arthur Treachers, Warners Bakery, etc.
I felt "right there" when I read the passages from the Dandy house. Genuine thrills and I admit to being one of those dumb kids who came up for a peak back in the day.
