5.0 out of 5 stars I Know What I Did In The Fall Of 1997. I Bought This CD!
Way way back three years ago when I bought this CD, I essentially just got it for one song. I had seen the trailer for "I Know" and liked "Hush" by Kula Shaker. I bought the CD and played the hell outta that one song. I liked a bunch of the others, "Great Life" by Goatboy, "2wicky" by Hooverphonic, "Kid" by Green...

3.0 out of 5 stars Very good for a soundtrack
Compared to the general level of soundtrack CDs, this one is superb!

You get a bunch of great rock songs, most of them kinda rough or punky.

Still, towards the end of the album, the fourth star fades away. Like on most soundtracks, there are too many mediocre tracks which decrease the overall level of an otherwise over-average soundtrack CD.

Way way back three years ago when I bought this CD, I essentially just got it for one song. I had seen the trailer for "I Know" and liked "Hush" by Kula Shaker. I bought the CD and played the hell outta that one song. I liked a bunch of the others, "Great Life" by Goatboy, "2wicky" by Hooverphonic, "Kid" by Green Apple Quick Step, "Hey, Bulldog" and "My Baby's Got The Strangest Ways" by Southern Culture on The Skids. So, in actuallity I loved the whole CD. After I saw the movie, I loved it even MORE. The other day, I was working out and I wanted some loud fun rock music to play. I went through my CD collection and pulled this dusty three year old disc out. I played it and now I've got those old songs in my head! It brought back a bunch of memories too. October of '97 was when I first started college. All in all, this is a great CD. Only a couple of the songs are stinkers. Truly the sign of a great soundtrack when the majority are good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite enjoyable, October 29, 2000
This review is from: I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Album (Audio CD)
I finally bought this soundtrack after wanting it for many years. I really enjoyed the music from the film and this CD is full of nearly every song from it, except a couple including "Forgotten Too" by Ugly Beauty, which was one of the main reasons I bought it, but I am still satisfied with the majority of the album. My favourites are "Summer Breeze" -Type o Negative, "Hooverphonic" -2Wicky and "One Hundred Days" -Flick. I'm not entirely used to the CD yet so I won't judge any of the songs badly. I'd say if you enjoyed the film you should buy the Album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Late bloomer . . . a dim bulb brightens., June 8, 2000
This review is from: I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Album (Audio CD)
Finally!

After three years of hemming and hawwing inexplicably, I finally bought this CD. Target song: "Hush," of course. I figured I could buy it, and if the rest of the CD blew, I'd at least have Kula Shakur.

Well, the rest of the CD doesn't blow. In fact, it's pretty good. You can listen to it all without retching in disgusted or writhing in torment, even if you're not a Korn fan.

My favorite songs on this soundtrack are "Hush," Type O Negative's "Summer Breeze," sungs in an irresistable baritone, and I'm now a Hooverphonic diehard because of "2Wicky."

Buy this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Soundtrack, June 24, 1999
By A Customer

I love this c.d. I can listen to it all the way through and not find a bad song, but most of the songs are cover songs like hush, summer breeze, hey bulldog, and this ain't the summer of love. This c.d has all types of music for everyone. I just wished it had wake up call by the mighty mighty bosstones. That's the song Barry's listening to when he gets drunk in his car while ray's driving. ( the heavy metal song)

5.0 out of 5 stars A great soundtrack with some NO named bands, November 28, 1999
This review is from: I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Album (Audio CD)
If you look on the back of the I Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack you may be decieved, when you see bands such as: Southern Culture on the Skids, Flick, Goatboy, Green Apple Quick Step, Kula Shaker, and the Din Pedals. But until you listen to the CD, you wouldn't believe all these no named bands have the best songs on the soundtrack. Making IKWYDLS a good mix of Rock music to suit anyone who likes Rock.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best soundtracks!, January 31, 2006
This review is from: I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Album (Audio CD)
Ok, so the movie was almost hated by everyone except for a choice few... me being one of them, but even if you dont like the movie you should pick up the soundtrack. The songs on this cd are great. My faves are The Din Pedals "Waterfall" this song is absoulutely beautiful, Our Lady Peace "Clumsy" Great Band, Great Song. Kula Shaker "Hush" This song just rocks, Type O Negative "Summer Breeze" Really cool remake of this song! Hooverphonic "2Wicky" this one is so awesome. All the songs are really well rounded but I think the best song on there is Adam Cohen "Don't Mean Anything" it is so dark and beautiful, has a malancholy feel its so haunting.... but great. Either way this cd is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best Soundtracks available, April 25, 2000
This review is from: I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Album (Audio CD)
I bought this cd 2 years ago, because I had heard Kula Shaker's version of "Hush". Little did I know that I would love the entire album. "Waterfall" by The Din Pedals, and "Clumsy", by Our Lady Peace, make the album especially worth owning. This is one of those cd's that you can take anywhere. On a workout, on a trip, anywhere. This is definately one of the best compilation cd's I own.
