Michael Youssef, Ph.D., is the Founder and President of Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef, a worldwide ministry that leads the way for people living in spiritual darkness to discover the light of Christ through the creative use of media and on-the-ground ministry teams (www.leadingtheway.org). Dr. Youssef was born in Egypt, lived in Lebanon and Australia before coming to the United States. In 1984, he fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming an American citizen. He holds degrees from Moore College in Sydney, Australia, and from Fuller Theological Seminary in California. In 1984, he earned a Ph.D. in social anthropology from Emory University. He and his wife reside in Atlanta and have four grown children and five grandchildren.

If you think that Satan and the evil principalities of the world simply exist in childhood imaginations or Hollywood movies, you had better read this book. Dr. Youssef has done a great deal of research and provides deep insight into how Satan works and the incredible deception that he creates in the world and in the hearts and minds of people of all ages and every socio-economic background. And as Dr. Youssef points out, there is no question that Satan's forces are stronger now than ever before in the history of mankind (okay, humankind). Satan (a.k.a. "THe Angel of Light,") has even infiltrated and in some cases, taken over many churches. Bottom line...read this book. It explains Satan's strategies, his army of demons, how their organized, etal. Best of all...it'll tell you how to not only protect yourself from the Enemy, but how to wage war against him and the evil principalities. This book will change your life.

This book provides an excellent guideline for battling our enemy, Satan, who is out to "kill, steal and destroy" Christians. Many people want to downplay the existence of Satan, that he isn't real or can't harm Christians. However, the author reminds us that he is real and in order to combat him we must prepare our battle plan. I have The Seven Point Counteroffensive listed in my daily planner so that I can review it every morning. I would highly recommend this book to every believer.

In my battle with spiritual warfare (which is very real and increases as you walk more closely with the Lord), this resource was the best I have read to date that clearly and succinctly explains the nature of our enemy, his tactics and battle plan, and how to victoriously rest on the power of the finished work of atonement on the Cross by our Lord. This is a wonderful resource. I intend to read it often and to buy several copies for my friends to have in their libraries. This is perhaps the most influential book I have read in 5 years--------and I have read a lot in my own struggles with depression and spiritual warfare. All the glory goes to the Lord; He ALONE is our focus, our strength and our sustainer. This is clear from scripture as Michael Youssef thoroughly points out in this fine work.
