This book is shorthand, a concise yet in-depth way of discovering all kinds of information about the human mind and personality. Chapter titles include the three body types, the four humoral (emotional) types, the Jungian typology, the evolutionary typology of the Zodiac, planetary types, styles of thinking, political, occupational, and aesthetic typologies, psychiatric character types, types of love and sex, oriental and esoteric typologies, the typology of numbers, types of consciousness--the actualism approach. Many excellent references to further your quest for types. An excellent read and a valuable reference book.

If ever there was a book that should never have gone out of print, it's this one. I don't know of any other book on psychological types that brings together so much information, covering virtually every major system of types. Because he knows his material so thoroughly, throughout the book he relates the information on systems to each other, rather than just presenting each by itself. My copy is covered with underlining and notes and I refer to it often.
