5.0 out of 5 stars Finding Peace within your Heart thru faith building book.
I find Stormies book to be of great help and encouragement. Many people who have been thru simular situations in their life feel like they are all alone. Stormie shows how there is help in the Lord and how to release these feelings to the Lord and how to trust him and allow the faith to be build up. Also how to get the focus on him(the Lord). This is a wonderful book...

1.0 out of 5 stars This woman should've been GETTING counseling, not giving it!
Do a search for the Cornerstone article on Lauren Stratford, and learn just how seriously disturbed this woman was...she would do anything for attention, even lying about physical and sexual abuse (which she had a history of) and feigning blindness. For her to try and identify herself w/genuine abuse victims is both decietful and insulting, and I wouldn't recommend this...

This is a wonderful book that can help guide those hurting thru the proces of self forgiveness and acceptance of christ and his help. Releasing emotional hurt is a one day at a time process which i ssmoother when focus is on the Lord. I would recommend this book for people of all ages with emotional hurt and also their family members so they can try to understand the hurt and turmoil felt. May God Bless each one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful resource for anyone who's been abused!, April 18, 2006
This review is from: I Know You're Hurting: Living Through Emotional Pain (Paperback)
Since I am a survivor of abuse as well, this book was immensely helpful in gaining my liberty from the pain of my past. I would recommend it to anyone who has endured any kind of abuse at the hands of wickedness!
Since abuse is a reality in this world, it's nice to know we have someone like Lauren Stratford who lived to tell about it and in sharing her testimony; help others gain their freedom from this same horrible abuse.
In Christ we stand! God bless Lauren Stratford for her bravery and tenacity for sharing the truth about satan's underground and all his evils.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why would anyone take advice from this very disturbed woman?, April 3, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: I Know You're Hurting: Living Through Emotional Pain (Paperback)
I think Lauren Stratford should concern herself with her own problems instead of trying to help others. Her first book, Satan's Underground, was proven to be a pack of lies written by a very emotionally disturbed woman. Her second book about her supposed multiple personalities is just more of the same. She wouldn't know the truth if it bit her on the backside. She touts herself as an expert on ritual abuse, but she is only an expert on lies and manipulation.
