The topic of knowledge management has received a tremendous amount of attention from various constituents, ranging from academics to technologists to executives to consultants. In response, knowledge management experts Scott Tannenbaum and George Alliger authored a collection of IHRIM Journal columns on the subject. These columns were adapted and restructured to create an all-inclusive knowledge management primer, Knowledge Management: Clarifying the Key Issues. The book raises questions, highlights potential pitfalls and generates ideas for stimulating the application of knowledge to address organizational needs.
