Biblical Obedience,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Knox: On Rebellion (Cambridge Texts in the History of Political Thought) (Paperback)
Knox was truly a master per 1 Peter 3:15 at disputing the pretensions of would-be tyrants - always citing Old Testament scriptural examples to prove his point. He laid an excellent foundation of arguments for those who would follow, such as Rutherford and Witherspoon. His warning to those Christians who pursue a 'listless obedience' of complicity in Ezekiel 22:25-31 is powerful. This selection provides the reader with an understanding of how "Rebellion to tyrants" can be "Obedience to God."
