There's nothing sweeter than this true story about a baby bear!,

This review is from: Knut The Baby Polar Bear (Board book)
Very young children will be absolutely enthralled with the story of an baby polar bear no bigger than a snowball! Knut lives in Germany in a zoo, and he was lucky enough to meet Thomas who helped raise him.
Thomas fed Knut with a bottle, just like a human baby. He even taught him how to swim. Knut was so cute that he won the hearts of people all over the world, and now very young readers can learn about him with this board book that tells his story. This is an excellent true story told beautifully with precious pictures to enhance the tale. What a great story for little animal-lovers!

Interesting book that explains in simple, easy-to-understand language about this baby polar bear. The pictures are amazing. This book is good for all ages and I bought it for me (54 yrs old) simply because it's a great story! I don't have anything negative to say about this book!.

OK for a baby, save your money for a child over the age of two,

I bought this for my preschool-age daughter because she had learned about Knut in Germany and was somewhat interested. Aside from a few cute pictures, there isn't much to this book. The story isn't particularly interesting -- the text is "This is Knut. He is a baby polar bear. He lives at the zoo . .. . " The information on the book's back cover (when Knut was born, he was no bigger than a snowball; his foster father slept next to him and fed him from bottles) is far more interesting than anything inside the book's covers.
The book is okay if you just want to look at a few pictures of a cute little polar bear, but if you want to learn anything about Knut, best to save your money and look elsewhere.

Not what I expected,

After buying another book done by the same people (Owen & Mzee), I had high expectations for this book, but I was a little disappointed. There's nothing too unique about it. It doesn't tell much of a story, probably because I got the board book version. It is a cute book--it's just not quite what I'd expected.
