This is a cute (but expensive) lamp that matched our baby's room decor. However, three problems have become apparent after 6 months of use. The nightlight gets very hot when left on for more than an hour. So I don't use it unless I'm in there. Second, if you use it as a nightlight (the bottom lamp), turning it off is VERY loud. Say you just got your child to sleep, then you click off the lamp and whaallaa...your child wakes up because it is SO loud. Also, if you have the nightlight lamp on, when you turn it off (after your baby is asleep) you have to click through the bright light to get to the complete off position. Not very smart design.

this is a really nice lamp worth every penny.. it has a built in night light in the little star.very convenient it saves from buying a separate nightlite. its also very cute , with a wide base to avoid accidently knocking over..

This is a very cute lamp. I like that it has a built in nightlight. However, for those messy diaper cleanups in the middle of the night, I have to switch from nightlight to regular bright light to see what I'm doing. This, of course, wakes baby up. Otherwise a good product.
