These blankets are great. They have a cute puppy pattern, they are light enough for warm California weather and they wash well. We got them when my son was a month old. He started escaping from the blankets we'd swaddle him in, but these blankets are a bit larger and worked until he was two months old. Also, since they are thin, they do not take much room in a diaper bag and it is easy to use one of them to block the sun from our baby's face without him getting too hot.

These blankets are WONDERFUL! ESPECIALLY if you want to swaddle your baby. The blankets are rectangle instead of square, this helps to keep the ends tucked in. I still use them to tuck in my toddler, the large size continues to come in very handy.

These blankets were on my registry... i put them there after i read the reviews here. But on the very first wash, they began to give way around the edges and started to fray... very unsightly.

I give 5 stars for the fabric...very soft...but the fraying spoils it.

These are the best blankets because of their size. They make swaddling my baby so easy. Smaller blankets are fine for newborns, but these are perfect for slightly older babies who still like to be swaddled.

I tried many brands of blankets prior to finding these. They are wonderful!!! I have big babies and these have been great for wrapping them and covering the carseat and both of us for nursing. They are super soft and larger than most receiving blankets. I highly recommend these!

Out of all of the blankets that I received for my shower, (and there were alot), these are the absolute best.
1. They wash great, over & over and stay soft.
2. They were big enough to swaddle my son in the first months
3. GREAT for the summer, where he can have a blanket, but it is nice & cool.
I loved these blankets so much that I went and bought two more packs (4 in a pack) because my mother & mother-in-law kept keeping them!

These are MUCH larger recieving blankets than some other brands and when you have 11 lb. boys, you really appricate the extra size. They wash well and don't fade. Very soft which is also a plus.

We received a number of receiving blankets for our son's baby shower, including Carters, Wamsutta, and these. After 8 months these are still my favorites. The Wamsutta blankets (30" square) were just too small, and the Carters blankets were cut odd - after a number of washings I noticed the corners no longer match up when I fold them, and they are nowhere near as soft as these Koala Baby blankets. I still use these for my 8 month old as a summer blanket (not swaddled) for naptimes and nighttimes. These are the softest receiving blankets we own, and the first ones I pull out of the drawer if we need a light cover for our little boy.

These blankets are very soft and wash well. No shrinking. They are thinner than the Carters receiving blankets but they are still great. They are lighter weight so it's nice to cover baby's car seat with them when you don't want people touching him or her. They are great in the summer when you just need something light in the air conditioning.

I bought these receiving blankets when my son was first born back in November. I used them to swaddle him for almost a month. These blankets are very good size. After the first month, I cannot swaddle him anymore because he's an "escape artist" who always manage to get one of his arm or leg out side of the blankets. The blankets held up well after washes. Now the weather are getting warmer. I'm using them as light blankets for warm nights. They are excellent. Definitely worth the money.
