In general it's a very good book. Unfortunately there's a statement on p. 40 which is in my opinion definitely wrong:"The koalas are no longer an endangered species". Koalas still face lots of threats due to habitat destruction, by law they are protected but thir habitat isn't - so they are still an endangered species.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Koalas (New True Book) (Library Binding)
The book is interesting because it talks about interesting things. Koalas themselves are interesting to me. Koalas live in Australia. They sleep and eat in Eucalyptus trees. Koala means one who doesnt drink. Baby koalas are very small when they are born. Did you know koalas are marsupials? Over two million koalas are being hunted.
They are now protected.
