KAMB is one of the best RPG's for simple fun,

"Kobolds Ate My Baby" (or KAMB to the dedicated fan) is one of the best, simple table-top role-playing games around. The characters are quickly created and fun to role-play. The game is full of humor for both seasoned game veterans and people who have never played a role-playing game before. The humor is entirely tongue-in-cheek and spot on.
(All hail King Torg!)

Big dumb fun,

Kobolts eat my baby is one of the most interesting takes on a genre cliche I have ever read that is both playable as RPG and a drinking game. If you enjoy slap stick, or have a tendency towards creeping surrealism, killing off your Kobolt can make an enjoyable evening.
It is also one of the most readable and affordable RPG books I have ever looked at.

When the book arrived, it was in perfect condition. I opened up the packaging, and I marveled at it's beauty. Only moments later my friends and I began to read from the book unfolding tales of short dog-like creatures running around with pots and pans stealing babies for king Torg (All hail king Torg!). Great times were had by all.

These Ain't Gary Gygax's Kobolds,
By Christi Hart (Nevada USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kobolds Ate My Baby Super Deluxx Edition (Hardcover)
Kobolds Ate My Baby is a simple role-playing game meant for quick and easy play. Never role-played before? That's okay, KAMB's patented BEER and pretzels engine is made for everyone from beginning adventurers who don't know which way to hold their dice, to those who have a special set of dice for each character they've ever played. You start the game by making your kobold, a fuzzy dog-like creature who's about as sharp as a bag of wet mice. Your job is to go forth and find babies to feed to King Torg (All Hail King Torg!) before he grills you instead! It's great fun for most ages (wee ones probably won't get it) and a fantastic introduction into the nefariously addictive world of Role-Playing games.

KAMB is fun but not for every gaming group.,

First, if your gamers have a great sense of humor and don't mind too much wackiness this game might be something fun to try. The Game normally runs anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours (I'm not brave enough to take it longer). It was good for those night that our group needed a break. Easy set-up and character creation make for a quick game play. The purpose is to play like a stupid Kobold and see if you can survive (But don't be surprise when you don't and have to give your kobolds obit.). Fun, lots of humor, and great for easy slow nights.
