The one thing that worried me about the Kocaso M766 is that it only has 512MB of RAM. I'm not sure if it's the 1.5GHz processor but this tablet is very fast and responsive. I've never heard of this brand before, Kocaso, and didn't know what to expect. I wasn't expecting much for the price but boy was I completely wrong. With Kocaso, it's not just about a great performing tablet, but an all around experience with much needed accessories included in the package.

I love that this tablet has a Micro-SD slot and support (Why can't an iPad or Kindle Fire have this, seriously?). The tablet runs on Android JellyBean 4.2, stable, responsive. Bluetooth wireless for headphones, keyboard and other BT devices. Google Play was ready to go out of the box, Amazon App store was just a download away, installed quick and I haven't had a problem with any of my Amazon purchased apps yet. The package includes a stylus for more precise movments, earbuds that are really nice for a bonus enclosure, screen protector film for keeping the screen in tip top shape, a canvas bag for storage and transport, an OTG cable for supporting USB devices (flash drives, mice, etc.), and a power adapter.

I love my Nexus 7, and by no means is a Kindle Fire a true Andriod device based on how much it's modified, however the Kocaso M766 is pure customizable Android that moves fast. I've worked with plenty of budget priced tablets before, and love how responsive this unit is. In addition to my productivity, mail, games and other apps, I tested Netflix and it worked great. No stutters or stopping.

I'm lucky enough to already have an Android tablet - a Samsung - and it was over $400. My GF has an iPad 2, and we both have Android phones. This little tablet will work just fine for most people - at this price point you don't get some of the features that are standard on the tablets that cost 5x as much (that's why they cost 5x as much!)

The one thing I do miss is that this tablet does not have GPS. If you have a smart phone or a GPS unit, that does not really matter. The other downside to an inexpensive tablet like this is that the screen is plastic - just like your HD TV. Higher end tablets use specialty glass that's shatter proof and has names like "Gorilla Glass." So you'll really want a screen protector for this unit. It does include one, but I'd spent a few bucks and get a good quality one. I picked up a non-glare, bubble proof screen protector for a 7" tablet and trimmed it to fit. The battery life can also be problematical - I could see it drop from 90% down to 20% in 30 minutes when streaming a video from Youtube. I had every feature turned on, so the battery drain was at maximum.

For standard use, say when the brightness is not at 100% and you're not streaming a video, the power drain is not as bad. If the network is turned off and you're watching a video from memory or USB key (you can buy micro-USB keys now!) battery life is much better. As with any android device, power management is a skill you learn over time. One slightly funny thing - the browser defaults to what I assume is Chinese. I installed the Chrome browser and that solved the problem.

There are a LOT of positives that far outweigh the negatives. The device accepts micro-SD cards, so you can keep a library of movies and music, etc. It's light - 10.2 ounces - and compact.

This little tablet is a matter of "everything to like and nothing to complain about."

At 7 inches across and only 11 ounces, it is a serious contender for all things small and beautiful. I had never used an Android, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The screen is nicely clear, the sound adequate although not exceptional, and the touch exceptional and very responsive. It comes with a USB charger, cords, earbuds, and even a stylus.

It is a bit slower responding than my iPad 2, but only a slight pause.

It comes with 8GB and room for storage on a card. Of the 8GB, 4 is pretty much used up with the installed software and programs, so for photos, videos, and other assorted memory takers, you will want to buy a micro SD card.

While the print on things like my PDF files are smaller than on my iPad, the capability of enlarging the font on the device itself makes it easy for my aging eyes to read. I mention the PDF files, because I normally do my sermon off of my tablet and need to be able to glance down and see the font easily. This isn't an issue of the tablet, it simply is resident in the fact that it is 7 inches. However, while I prefer larger, it is more than adequate. What I really appreciated was the large keyboard when typing on this.

I found the Netflix app clunky (a function of the app, not the tablet), but the picture itself was super. I already had a Gmail Account, and it imported my email and calendars seamlessly - a very pleasant surprise. The same happened with my Kindle once I logged into my account.

Now, when you look at the price and compare this to any of the Kindles here on Amazon, that is where this really shines.
