As a previous reviewer already stated, that's a lot of money for a cable. I agree, but since I had a $20 gift card from Amazon, it made my decision to purchase it a no brainer. I wanted the cable so I could show my in-laws my pictures since they don't have a computer. The cable works great with my Kodak M863 camera.

What can I say in a review? It's a cable. It may be a pin-to-pin standard cable, the likes of which I have seen selling for $3.50 to $5.00. However, THIS is a KODAK cable, designed (I have to believe) to work solely with the Kodak Easy Share Digitial Camera. I may have been taken in, but I wasn't going to risk my investment in the camera for a few dollars difference for a cable. If you feel the same as I do, spend the extra and get this item.

I bought this cable because picture "seems" to be the same kind for my C813, product info does not specify exact models of camera, or closer picture to usb connector to be sure for shopping. I have already posted an image with the real connector.

This cable allowed me to share Christmas pictures of our grandchildren on our HDTV the whole family loved seeing them, LARGE, right after I took them.

The vendor I purchased this from (CAMSDIGITAL) sent me the AV-5 cable instead of the AV-8.

The difference is that the AV-5 has a standard micro B 5-pin connector, while the AV-8 has a smaller 8-pin connector.

Seemed to be a mix up with supply and I was issued a refund.

For those who do not have USB inputs in their monitors and still have the conventional TV Screens with RCA inputs, this is an ideal item. Thanks

I ordered a cable for a camera. It was not the correct one.. (NOT THEIR FAULT)
I tried to contact the people to return it within their time period. I recieved no responce. Now I have a cord that does not fit and no money back. (THAT IS THEIR FAULT)

It was well packaged, and worked out of the box.
This was one of two cables I purchased through Amazon,
and I am happy with both.
I personally feel that Kodak tends to just discontinue
support for various items and it seemed prudent to
have a spare cable on hand so I can continue using my camera.
For example: Do a web search for Kodak EasyShare G600 Printer Paper,
you will find you can buy an Kodak EasyShare G600 Printer Dock
for around $400, but good luck finding the paper.
Pity is - it is a great little printer.

This cable works fine. However, the output from my Kodak camera is rather low res, even though the pictures taken were 10 mega pixel. When shown onto a large TV, via this cable, the pictures were very pixilated and blocky. To project a high res picture onto the TV I'm sure the pictures would have to be shown from a PC instead, or be transferred to a DVD or CD first and then shown on the TV.

This product does NOT allow you to transfer video or pictures from the Kodak z1485S camera to a tv that has the yellow video input cable, as it said in the ad for this item on amazon. It probably works for other cameras, but the product is of no use to me. I haven't investigated returning it yet, because it was fairly cheap. In fact, the cable won't even fit well in the z1485S usb thing, and I had to shave away some of the rubber to make it fit. You win some you lose some!
