Charge up to 4 AA batteries in just one hour. The Kodak K6000 battery charger is compatible with both NiMH and NiCad rechargeable batteries, as well as both AA and AAA sizes. It comes with four AA-size Kodak Max NiMH rechargeable digital camera batteries, which offer a 2100 mAH capacity rating. NiMH batteries have no memory effect, provide up to twice the life of standard Ni-Cd batteries, and experience up to 1000 charge/discharge cycles.

Well-designed rapid charger that does worldwide voltages (110/220V). Comes with four 2100 MA batteries. Batteries can be charged 1, 2, 3 or 4 at a time. It accepts a maximum of 4AA's or 2AAA's. A separate power cord that plugs into the side of the charger is provided, unlike the usual alternatives - either ungainly flip plugs on the back of the charger, or prongs that stick out an inch from the back of the charger - that are common in chargers of this size. The whole ensemble, including batteries, fits nicely into the accessory pocket of a large digital camera pouch with at least 2 inches (thickness) of space for accessories.

The batteries that come with this are made by Sanyo & are EXCELLENT !

Careful on 2 fronts:
1. The charger used to be made by Sanyo & is no longer true. They are made in china but the quality seems to be very acceptable.

2. Can charge 4AAs & only 2 AAAs. But you can all do 6 at the same time.

3. It charging time depends on mah rating. It charges in 1 hr for 800mah AAA. It takes 2 hours or so for 2100mah. But stil it is worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a sturdy, compact easy to use charger than this is for you. This charger is fine for the average picture taker that can wait the hour it takes to charge the batteries. Although there are faster chargers out there this one does the trick.
