Well-designed rapid charger that does worldwide voltages (110/220V). Comes with four 2100 MA batteries. Batteries can be charged 1, 2, 3 or 4 at a time. It accepts a maximum of 4AA's or 2AAA's. A separate power cord that plugs into the side of the charger is provided, unlike the usual alternatives - either ungainly flip plugs on the back of the charger, or prongs that stick out an inch from the back of the charger - that are common in chargers of this size. The whole ensemble, including batteries, fits nicely into the accessory pocket of a large digital camera pouch with at least 2 inches (thickness) of space for accessories.

The batteries that come with this are made by Sanyo & are EXCELLENT !

Careful on 2 fronts:
1. The charger used to be made by Sanyo & is no longer true. They are made in china but the quality seems to be very acceptable.

2. Can charge 4AAs & only 2 AAAs. But you can all do 6 at the same time.

3. It charging time depends on mah rating. It charges in 1 hr for 800mah AAA. It takes 2 hours or so for 2100mah. But stil it is worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a sturdy, compact easy to use charger than this is for you. This charger is fine for the average picture taker that can wait the hour it takes to charge the batteries. Although there are faster chargers out there this one does the trick.

I bought my mother her first digital camera (a Kodak Easyshare that takes 2 AA's) along with this charging system shortly after my brother gave her her first grandchild :)

She sees her grandson a few times a week, and hasn't stopped taking pictures, even though he's now 2.

She still uses this charger and hasn't had any issues. She keeps 2 batteries in the camera, and two in the charger - so there's never a wait.

I like to see reviews from people who have owned a product for a while. So I've been going through my amazon purchase history to review my not-so-recent purchases.

Considering this product has performed exactly as needed, with heavy use, for 2 years - that earns 5 stars from me. What else could you want?

I bought this and my batteries charge in less than an hour...problem is they don't hold a charge (tried 2000 mAh and 2500 mAh). I guess the charger doesn't charge them to full charge, i thought this charger was smart enough to know when the batteries are charged but if the light turns off (indicating supposed full charge) and you put the batteries back in the charger the light turns back on as if the batteries are dead...strange. I use them on my Easyshare C310 and 10-15 pictures later the low battery thing comes up.

Used this battery charger for many hours. Saves buying disposable
batteries, and helps the environment.

I haven't had to replace it yet and I've had it for a couple years now. I got it because I have a digital camera and I hated throwing out batteries. It does both AA and AAA

I've spent hundreds, using my digital camera, on batteries. But not anymore! Though no battery has forever stamped on it, it is greater not to have to run out to the store in the middle of a gathering or a photo shoot. When it gets hot, it really gets hot, so watch it after an hour of charging.

I bought this a few months ago and it no longer works. At first it worked OK, then it wouldn't charge the batteries fully -- as some of the other reviews have found. Now it doesn't work at all.

Buyer beware.

The best review is to say they work as advertised. I did a lot of comparison shopping, and these were the best deal.
