This kit complemented my new DC4800 camera perfectly. Most of the accessory items I wanted came together in this one kit: extra battery, international battery charger, PREMIUM camera bag, and lens pen. (A sample pack of inkjet photo paper is included.)

The charger is great because I can use it outside of the USA since it is compatible with power in most foreign countries. However, you will still need a plug adapter outside of North America. Perhaps the greatest of all is that a completely drained battery is COMPLETELY recharged in one hour or less with this charger. The DC4800 camera itself can recharge batteries; but it takes up to 4 hours and the camera cannot be used during that time.

The Lens Pen helps keep your camera and lenses free of smudges and fingerprints; and the nice padded bag will help protect your camera and accessories. This kit is cheaper than buying the items separately. ( Kodak item# 1174770 )

A very good buy considering you are getting a battery, fast charger, camera bag, lens pen and sample inkjet picture paper. The extra battery is great since the DC4800 seems to eat a lot of power even with the battery save function on. The fast charger is an additional benefit since it can charge the battery in an hour or less (compared to 4 hours or less charging with the camera). The lens pen is excellent for cleaning your lens from dust or lint. The only drawback I considered is the camera bag. Although it has compartments to place a picture card, 2 batteries and a divider that you can adjust to your liking; I considered the bag to be small. Otherwise it is a very good deal. This expansion pack is cheaper than buying each part individually (a true savings).

The camera case is worthless - it doesn't seal at all so pieces can easily fall out and dust can go in.

Of course, the battery and charger are very useful, so simply buy the charger individually and then purchase a REAL camera case and a lens cleaner. You won't miss those 5 pieces of paper.

Included in this package: * Extra battey and charger - very nice * Lens cleaning tool - oversized, not worth much * Paper - five whole pieces, not worth much * Camera bag - worthless, does not seal at all; just a flap with a single buckle.

This kit is simply not worth what it costs. Just purchase the battery and charger seperately (only $59 if you order directly from Kodak) then take your $40 and buy a real camera case, lens brush, and 15 sheets of print paper.

I love the whole kit, because it's everything I need. The bag is really nice, though I had to put a piece of black tape over the "Kodak" logo, so that it wouldn't be so obvious I was carrying an expensive camera.

I really don't have use for the photo paper though, because I get my photos done....

The lithium battery charger is also a necessity, and it gets your charging done in a short period of time, rather than having to keep buying alkaline batteries for only a few minutes of use before they die.

A great deal overall. The charger is super and the spare battery is a necessity.

The bag is big enough for the camera, instruction manual, spare battery and USB cable, but the fit is a bit awkward. I would have preferred a snug, molded fit for the camera and a bit more room for the manual. As it is, I had to insert the manual diagonally in an oddly sized pocket, wasting some space.
