I bought this camera since I'll be traveling soon. My basic needs were 3x optical zoom, 5MP, under $100, Kodak brand (or Canon, or Sony or HP) and AA batteries.

This one had all I needed plus 7 MP. So far it's proved itself as a great camera for indoors and outdoors. It has enough settings to suite any need, also is simple to use. Most of the times, AUTO is good enough for a great picture.

I have to say shutter time is a little slow.

My daughter and I were initially pleased. The pics were sharp for a $100 camera and it was easy to use. After less than 2 mos however it would no longet turn on. New batteries did not solve this problem so I returned it for another. No issues with this one for about the same time and then the same defect hit. After it sat around for weeks I decided to give it another try with new batteries and it worked for one picture before shutting down once again.

I am not a big picture taker. I haven't had a camera in years. This camera is my first digital camera and I love it. My husband and I are building a house now and I take the camera every day for construction shots. It takes great pictures when set on auto and it is so easy to use. When the pictures are printed the are very crisp and clear. I tried some of the other options on the camera itself but didn't see much of a difference.(could be me). I did buy a 1GB memory card because the camera itself holds only about 12 pictures. I also carry extra batteries because the original ones went bad within a month. I was prepared for the memory and battery problem so it didn't bother me.

It's a great camera for the price and also for a beginner. I love taking all kinds of pictures and then going through them on my computer. This sure beats the days when you had to develop every picture you took.

After a few weeks of working this camera, it has done a great job. Highly recommend it.

Bought this camera to replace HP digital and boy was it a great deal. This camera takes great pictures. I am very pleased with it. Added a 2gb memory card and card reader.

Since I've only used it three times I haven't got a good understanding of this camera's pluses and minuses. Though as of today it is exactly what I looked for. 1) Good point and shoot. 2)Minimum fuss out of the box. And 3) it's fast enough with the shot to catch people impromptu.

I bought this camera brand new and after about 15 pictures (couple of months old), it broke. The lense would never come back out and the camera kept automatically shutting off. I returned it for repair work. Shortly thereafter, I was sent a brand new camera. So far so good. Good camera for the price. Easy to use and takes good pictures for the price.

The camera I purchased for my grandson was shipped exactly like I needed and he is very happy with it.

This a great camera. I have never been able to take good pictures, but with this camera, the pictures are great. It is just perfect for me.
