Memory cards are easy to work with Card Writers.
With a Card Writer, you are no longer in Kodak environment, but in Window environment.
Kodak environment, somehow, dumb, and Kodak does not know it.
If Kodak is smater, its cameras can get higher grade, and can be sold at higher prices.
The Z40 isn't the best camera for indoor photography--especially if you're in the back of a large, dark room and you want to focus in on something up on the stage.
I always have a hard time focusing when the camera is zoomed in as far as it'll go. I try to back it out the zoom a bit until it focuses. If that doesn't work then try moving closer.
Other than that there isn't much you can do since the limitations are within the camera and there isn't a setting to compensate for it.
I have one and I've recently reviewed the manual. I recall there being a 10 second delay (to get in the picture), and a 2 second delay (for stabilization). The manual is downloadable from Kodak's website.
