The Kodak F600 records lighting and color data on the film's magnetic strip for the photo lab to use when developing, and it imprints each shot with time and date information. The viewfinder displays the selected picture size for simplified camera operation. The self-timer allows you to take self-portraits or to be included in group photos. The Kodak F600 automatically advances and rewinds film, and the safety interlock prevents the film door from opening until the roll is completely rewound. A roll of Kodak Advantix color film, battery, coupon book, instructional manual, and detachable camera strap are included.
Kodak offers a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

.*** Usually, I use disposable camera's. Then I saw this thing and grabbed one. I love it. It has two cool features. Panoramic format and self timer. The panoramic pictures look great. If your camera won't take them, then you are missing out. Take a few panoramic pictures and you will be hooked. It is so nice to be able to include tons of stuff in a picture. Sitting at a dinner table, it was easy to get both sides of the table--amazing. Landscapes are obvious, but is it is good for so much more. I think you will find yourself using this feature more times than not. The self timer is very nice and a handy feature that cheaper cameras don't have. I have to have a self timer. It is essential for those situations where you want to get everyone in the picture. I also like the film format. Drop it in and it takes care of itself. There is a tripod mount on the bottom for more position control. Very easy to use, great pictures, cheap price. Try it you will like it. ***

I had to return this camera,
By "keries" (New York, NY USA) - See all my reviews

I really did my homework before buying a camera. I picked this one because it had great features at a great price, but I was very disappointed. The very first roll of film I used got "stuck" in the middle. The LCD display was flashing everything at once and I was unable to snap pictures, rewind, or anything. A few days later, the camera suddenly worked again. I loaded some more film and I accidentally hit the rewind button after only a few pictures. This seemed to happen a lot, maybe because the rewind button was in a location where it could easily be hit accidentally. I did this twice, and it happened another time when I handed the camera over to someone else to ask them to snap a picture. I guess it was just the location of the rewind button. The battery died after I had taken only about 35 photo, total. When the battery died, I was unable to even remove the film until I got a new battery. Then, when the battery was new, the camera would not let me just continue on with the same roll of film, it re-wound the film, so once again I had paid for film and only used a few shots. When I had the pictures developed, they were a nice quality, so I would have loved to work out my problems with this camera. Also, the zoom was quite powerful, especially for the price of the camera. I returned it and purchased a Minolta Vectis. I looked at the Vectis originally but was hoping to save some money by purchasing the Kodak. The Vectis has a less powerful zoom even though it costs more money, but so far it seems to be a good choice and it does have a lot of great features. Thanks to Amazon for making the return and the new purchase very easy.
