I had to get my husband a new digital camera and it did NOT come with a good memory card. I was able to get this high performance memory card on line at Amazon's marketplace. We are totally satisfied with it.

The "Kodak 2GB SD High Performance Memory Card" is a VERY fast card, indeed. I was very impressed with both the write speed in my Pentax Digital SLR and the read speed to my computer.

The card performed flawlessly in every device I checked it in, including a video recorder (Jazz DV151), a ZEN media player, and a Kodak digital camera.

A little more expensive than other SD cards, but it really is very a fast card.

purchased this memory card for my technology challenged parents...it was very easy for my father to install in their digital camera, which is a huge plus since I didn't have to assist him...received it fast and in perfect shape...thank you for a smooth transaction

I've got a 10 megapixel Kodak EasyShare M340. I just got my card a few hours ago and while it does do the job, if you rely on the EasyShare program that comes with the camera, beware.
The files still upload to my computer with EasyShare, but they don't appear in the "Recent Uploads" or the "Collection". Maybe it's just me, but the files aren't compatible with the program and I get an "An unrecoverable error: Image processing error: 0x80070057 occurred" message whenever I try to transfer the picture.
It's still a JPEG, but once I edit it in another program, I get a "This document's file has been changed by another application since you opened or saved it." message which asks me to continue or cancel.
After "continuing", it suddenly becomes compatible with the EasyShare program.

Point is, I'm not sure if it's me even though other 2GB cards have worked fine, but unless you rely on the EasyShare program, just buy a basic card.

This is the exact item that I wanted. It was a little high but I wanted the name and the high performance. There are others out there that could probably have worked at a lower price, but I was cautious. I bought a similar card before that did not work in the camera. Manufactures are making their products work only with their accessories.
