The only thing I could find that this battery is approved for use in is an alarm clock as a back up power source- but it never worked when the power went out so it must have arrived dead. There was no warning that these could not be used in smoke detectors when I purchased them - they look identical. Very disappointed!

Ignored the reviews and paid for it. This was completely dead when i received it.

I got a BC Rich ASM Pro with active EMG Humbuckers and this battery is the heart of my guitar. I can enjoy of the output , the sustain , the harmonics and the FR of my guitar. This battery is excellent.

They were DEAD. Amazon, ELIMINATE this item. So cheap I won't bother pursuing a return...

The battery was dead on arrival. The contacts were oxidized. On the plus side, the prime shipping for this junk was free and quick.

The delivery was really quick,
but the battery was already dead.

I asked for a replacement.
But again, it was dead.

I gave up.....


One quick way of checking the battery is to lick the sockets.
If you feel a discomfort, the battery is alive.

All four batteries were dead on arrival. Suggest you test your before storing away for that emergency use. There may be no juice when you need them! Suggest Amazon pull the stock. Thanks Amazon for the easy return. Bought a different brand. They were good.

I'll keep this review short, since my major concern when i bought it was that the battery wasn't going to work. i decided to take a chance on it because it was cheap, even though the another reviewer said he got two consecutive dead batteries. I'm happy to report that I've now had this battery for 2 weeks, and it worked fine right out of box, and it is still working now. Lastly, the battery comes just as pictured, with easy-to-open packaging.

I read the bad reviews saying these batteries are always defective, and thought it was biased since only people who get a defective battery would bother to review.
Don't make the same mistake - believe the bad reviews!
Something is seriously wrong with the manufacturing of these batteries.

If YOU were like I was before ordering these batteries, YOU might have assumed that a huge corporation like Amazon.com would dispose of their dead batteries in fire or perhaps just toss them nonchalantly out with the rest of the trash -- in explicit defiance of the warnings on the backs of battery packages that forbid this type of behavior. And, if you were like me, you were WRONG. Amazon.com has found a new, unique, and, most importantly, environmentally-safe method of disposing of their dead batteries -- by shipping them to their customers.
