I have had a set of these batteries for my Kodak camera for more than a year and they still work great.
Bekbolot M. Usubaliev
Love the fact that the batteries last for a long time on my Kodak camera, I can have them charged and they will last me like four days without recharging them!
J. Rodriguez
These last a really long time before needing recharging AND help the camera to recover quickly after each picture.

The Kodak KAARPC NiMH 2100 mAh belongs to the latest generation of low-self-discharge NiMH cells. It may not be as well-known as other brands (SANYO eneloop, Rayovac Hybrid, Duracell Pre Charged) but it is just as good according to my own testing:

1. The battery capacity is specified as 2100mAh. But the average capacity I have measured (using my La Crosse BC-900) is actually closer to 2200mAh!

2. After three months in storage, the capacity lost is only around 10%. This is even better than the results I got from eneloop and Hybrid (both close to 15%). Note that the difference could be due to measurement error and different ambient temperature, since those cells were not tested during the same period.

I have used more than a dozen of those Kodak Pre-Charged AA cells in digital camera (Canon S5), external flash (Canon 420EX), plus various toys and gadgets with great satisfaction. This Kodak 4-pack is an excellent buy, especially since it can be found at lower prices than other brands of pre-charged cells. If you are also looking for a fast and compact travel charger, then I highly recommend buying it with the KODAK K6200.

This is my second set of these rechargeable batteries from Kodak. I am not sure how or why, but a charged pair of these seem to last substantially longer than a fresh set of Duracells in our camera. I am very happy with them and definitely recommend them, especially for use in a digital camera.

I have a full blown home theater, that I use often, and if I didn't have rechargable batteries I would've spent a lot of cash buying batteries over and over again. And I would have been throwing away toxic waste pounds at a time. Im currently using 7 remotes and these batteries are a lifesaver!

I haven't found a universal remote that can do all the things my individual remotes can do so all of the rechargable batteries are a life saver!

I have used the Kodak rechargables before and needed them for an upcoming trip. They maintain their charge and I do not have to worry about having a large quantity of batteries as a backup. Well worth the investment.

I purchased a pack of these at a local retailer about 2 years ago, and they're still working, but:

1) The batteries are about 1mm longer than some other AA batteries such as the Sanyo NEW 1500 eneloop 4 Pack AA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries. You wouldn't think that would matter much, but it makes the batteries very tight and difficult to remove in some devices such as a GPS, digital camera, and a flashlight.

2) The plastic shrink-wrap around the batteries is very thin and easily damaged when batteries are being installed & removed. When a bit of the plastic is scraped off around the top of the battery, it is easy to short out the battery. (The Eneloops have this same issue)

Update: After 2.5 years, the capacity of each cell is very different even after using the automatic discharge & recharge option on my battery charger, ranging from 1100maH to 1600MaH depending on the cell. What this means is that one battery goes dead before the others.

My camera (Canon SX110IS) must be a particularly bad battery hog, or else the precharging wasn't very good. I got the battery low light immediately and after just a dozen or so pictures it shut down. I charged on my BC-700 and retried with the same poor results. The batteries needed a full refresh and yet another full test cycle after that before they started to perform. I am in the 250 shot range now, way better than standard alkalines -- and satisfied. 3/4 recharged exactly to spec (2100+/- 30), one went all the way to 2670! I'll probably buy more when the time comes, especially if they're on sale.

I purchased the Kodak Ni-MH battery pack to have some spare batteries for my new Kodak Z990. I have no problem with them. They came on time as the camera uses a lot of battery power.
