Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

Check out Kodak's heaviest and highest-quality photo paper for showcasing your best pictures. Kodak Ultima Picture Paper is the right choice for professional-quality photos and long-lasting prints. Its 4-by-6.5-inch size may surprise some customers who are expecting true 4-by-6-inch sheets, but the odd size makes the paper compatible with nearly all inkjet printers, including those that normally use 4-by-6-inch paper with an extra 0.5-inch perforated tear-off tab, although this paper does not have a tear-off tab. As a result, your prints will have a handy border for no-smudge handling, but if you want borderless prints, you'll have to trim the 0.5-inch border yourself or use software to expand the image width. This sample pack contains five sheets of ultra-high-gloss paper.

Note: Some customers may receive packages with an expired $5 savings sticker. This offer is no longer valid.

2.0 out of 5 stars Adequate for testing, November 20, 2002

After further review, I've changed my rating.

I got this sample pack of Kodak paper free when I purchased my Canon i850 (which also came with a sample pack of the Canon Photo Paper Pro).

The Kodak paper is not as good as the Photo Paper Pro. I've had the best success printing on it with the paper type set to Photo Paper Pro. The pictures printed on it are less glossy then those printed on the Photo Paper Pro and show banding. Also the paper seems to respond poorly to chnages in temperature and humidity.

The paper itself is 1/2" too long (4"x6.5") which can leave a white border on one end if you don't adjust for it.

I wouldn't buy this paper, but it's worth getting the free package to try for yourself.

1.0 out of 5 stars The absolute worst photo paper, September 1, 2003
This review is from: Kodak Ultima Picture Paper for Inkjet Prints (4x6.5, 5 Sheets) (Office Product)
We just purchased a new Canon printer and it came with a sample pack of Canon 4x6 photo pro paper. We were printing the same photo with different color settings to see how vivid we could make the photo and ran out of the Canon paper. So, we opened the package of Kodak 4x6 paper we purchased and the size is not even the same. Kodak 4x6 paper is actually 4x6.5

The quality of the photo compared to the other 3 we printed on the Canon paper is absolutely horrible. I belive it is b/c the paper does not absorb the ink quickly enough and beads up on the surface of the paper.

Buy Canon paper it is much better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Paper Strange Size, December 25, 2002
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Kodak Ultima Picture Paper for Inkjet Prints (4x6.5, 5 Sheets) (Office Product)
This is top quality paper. Prints come out great using the Canon I850 Printer. The only problem is the paper is not 4 x 6. It is 4 x 6 1/2. This leaves some blank space on the end of the paper. If it wasn't for this problem I would say this was the best paper available.
