I have tried several different grades of photo paper and none comes close to the quality I have received with this particular paper. And I don't have a hugely expensive printer; I have a Epson Workforce 610 printer/scanner and the pictures always turn out great. I use it mostly for enlargements so I get the most out of the cost of the paper. I often have people ask where I have my photos processed and they are always shocked that I do them at home. I always tell them the key is the paper and no paper works as well as the Kodak Ultra Premium Photo Paper. I highly recommend this product and yes, it is a little more expensive, however, to refer to an old quote: you get what you pay for. If the photos mean that much then you should go with the best.

Kodak is the best paper made, in my opinion, and this is the top of the line. The photos are neat and crisp. The paper never sticks.

This "Ultra Premium Five Star" paper, with a "Canon" printer, equals stunning photo prints. I also use a "Canon Rebel T2i" camara - and shoot my pictures in RAW (CR) mode. I've also used "HP Premium Plus" photo paper with excellent results, but Kodak slightly beats HP (my opinion). Both papers have been hanging on my walls for a few years without fade, but there's a number of factors at play here such as: "room conditions" where the pictures hang (sunny or dim, cool or warm). Ink and printer used, REAL Canon ink is the best (in a Canon printer), REAL HP ink is pretty good, but HP printers are easier to use. Epson is total crap... both printers and ink. In conclusion: I have 60 year old pictures, taken by my Grandfather, which are still in excellent condition. My Grandfather also stored these photos properly, AND used KODAK paper. HP hasn't been around that long, though I'd expect their paper to hold up as well. The old story is "you get what you pay for." I'm not happy that Kodak may soon go out of business, but I will be stocking up on their paper before they do. Amazon has a great price on this paper, so it's a "no brainer" as to where to get it.
