4.0 out of 5 stars Great value
I'm extremely satisified with this monitor; I have been using it for over a year and it has performed flawlessly so far.
The stand is removable, and nothing sticks out from the back (power and video connect to the bottom of the screen, parallel to the screen surface) which opens a variety of uses: hang it from the wall, hook it up to your treadmill...

I'll admit I bought this one, not for me, but for the wife. If you're looking for a super sharp and clear picture, you won't get it from this monitor, but I find it's acceptable for general computer work. The dot pitch is a little higher than my other LCD monitor. If a LCD monitor is a must have due to space or weight concerns and you're limited on funds, it is an...

No problems or complaints about it from her.

This product is nice once you get the settings to where you want them. But dealing with the manufacture. Is another story. They don't respond to your e-mails.And they give you a hard time, paying you back your rebate. If you ever get it.So I don't know how reliable customer service would be.

Paired with a TV tuner such as the Viewsonic or ADS, it becomes the cheapest flat panel TV on the market... Note that it does not have built-in speakers, you have to have an alternative solution. Also, it only has VGA input: to use it as a TV monitor you must use a video to VGA converter.

A very good value.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap -- price, quality, service, July 21, 2003

Cheap price, Cheap quality, and Cheap service.
I bought this monitor from a local chain store for its low price and rebate. The first one has a problem of violent image shaking during computer startup. The second one is sharp on the left half, and blurry on the right half screen, which I did not noticed until I ran a screen test pattern. The third one is good so far. Forget the rebate -- you will never get it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product for the price., February 22, 2004

This review is from: Kogi L4BX 14" LCD Monitor (Electronics)
This product is totally acceptable for the price. ...I do not have a TV at home. I bought a TV card and use my computer to watch TV. It looks really good, feels like having a flat screen TV at home.

The bad thing about this monitor is it does not display dark screens correctly. Sometimes I can't see a things at all if the TV show is dark.

In addition, once in a while I will have to unplug the power to get the monitor "recycled". Otherwise, it'd display some garbage on screen.

Besides that two bad points, this monitor is great and totally acceptable. I am quite happy with it.

I did get one dead "dot" on screen when I first opened the box
:-(

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing, flickers, dim when adjusting control, September 10, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Kogi L4BX 14" LCD Monitor (Electronics)
The only good things about this monitor are the price and the look. It is very sleek looking at super light. But that's where the benefits end. It is dim even when adjusting brightness (at a certain brightness, it noticably flickers). Very unimpressive display. Not worth it. Go with Cornea or Princeton

1.0 out of 5 stars Buy a 15" Monitor, or a 17" Monitor ramblings of a mad man., June 9, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Kogi L4BX 14" LCD Monitor (Electronics)
Spend the extra cash and buy a 15" or 17" Monitor, you won't be sorry, and while you might think 1" isn't alot, in a monitor it actually is alot. You can find a 15" for just a few bucks more, and 14" is kind of an oddball size, kind of like an 18" monitor. 15", 17", and 19" seem to be the standard. So resale of a 14", or a 18" will likley be tough, especially on a no nome brand like this....so if you buy this monitor you better be prepared to loose money on it, or keep if for a long time. Take a look at e-bay for resale....
