This review is from: Kolchak The Night Stalker: Terror Within (Paperback)
I bought this because i missed "Devil In The Details" and "Pain Most human"
I'm glad I bought it even though i have the other stories printed in this TPB.
Pain most Human is the best Kolchak story I've ever read. Hands Down.
So if your a fan of Kolchak and you missed a few of these Graphic Novels go ahead and get it.
You Won't be disapointed.

Terror Within: Excellence Without, April 17, 2008
This review is from: Kolchak The Night Stalker: Terror Within (Paperback)
The Moonstone team and Kolchak are a match made in heaven. The "Terror Within" is an outstanding collection of stories by Stefan Petrucha and C J Henderson.
"The Devil in the Details" is a great Trevor Von Eeden art fest. Oh yeah, the Petrucha script is pretty good too! "Pain Most Human" and "Pain Without Tears" are C J Henderson mystery sagas that only Kolchak can wade his way through without being published. This Kolchak is human, right down to his most basic of human emotions.
The Kolchak series from Moonstone is as good as we can get next to a new TV seres. Enjoy literary and graphic fiction excellence.

excellent collection of kolchak stories, February 20, 2011
This review is from: Kolchak The Night Stalker: Terror Within (Paperback)
In the short story "Pain Most Human" Kolchak's editor in chief Tony finds himself flying cross country to a dive bar in New York City the location he last sent Kolchak to investigate a undefined flying object crash. Once he arrives the bartender points him in the direction of Kolchak who has been residing in the bar for the last two days. With eyes that scream a thousand screams it's clear that Kolchak has seen something terrible during his investigation and begins to retell the story to Tony. Once again you are given an authentic Kolchak experience in comic form leaving you dying to find out what happens next in this collection.
The final addiction to this collection is "Pain Without Tears" and begins with Kolchak sitting in a bar having a little liquid breakfast when he is approached by a beautiful young lady who introduces herself as Yitt Feng. Instantly Kolchak is captivated by her and starts to confess all the strange things he had seen over the last two years, vampires, zombies, werewolves, he had experienced them all and lived to re tell the stories, things most people only believe to exist in late night drive-in movies and he had cross paths with each and every one of them face to face. Soon enough Kolchak would discover that Miss Yitt Feng was not like normal girls but she was something much more amazing. Out of all the stories included in "The Terror Within" my favorite story has to be "Pain Without Tears" something far different then the first two sci-fi heavy tales, with a beautiful ending that is also the perfect way to bring the collection to a close.
"The Terror Within" is a magnificent collection and would be enjoyed by long time Kolchak fans and those just now getting exposed to his world alike.
