I have had a travel system and an umbrella stroller, and I went from one set of problems to another. The Kolcraft is the perfect in-between stroller with the benefits of a big stroller and an umbrella stroller, making the ideal balance between both. I will compare it to my Graco travel system (the one where the handle flips) and my BRU umbrella.

Pros:

-Big canopy that doesn't need to be removed when folding the stroller like my BRU umbrella. I also like that the canopy goes straight across instead of pointing up in the air like my travel system, so it gets better coverage than both my other ones.
-One handle instead of two so I can steer with one hand.
-Big basket.
-Play tray for baby.
-Cup holder tray for me.
-Shock absorbers and smooth steering.
-Reclining seat.
-Very easy to fold with one hand.
-Folds wider but shorter than the umbrella, and since it is lightweight I can get it in the trunk and it fits, even in our tiny car! It folds less than half the size of the travel system, and probably a third of the height.
-It is the perfect height for me.
-The seat is firmer and can sit up straighter than the umbrella, so my baby is less figety/more comfortable than in the umbrella and than she was in the big stroller. She was always pulling herself up to try to sit vertically, she won't lean back, so this fixed it. (Likely a problem for my baby, not all).
-Easy assembly. Took about 5 min. No tools.

It is everything I loved about my big stroller, but at a weight I can lift and a size I can store.

Cons:

-Doesn't "feel" as massively sturdy as the travel system.
-Ours pulls slightly to the left when steering with one hand.
-Play tray has to be removed when folding it up.

I absolutely love this stroller. I used it for five years on many trips with my two children. It is perfect for travel and airports as well as handy to have as a second lightweight stroller for trips to the mall, grocery store etc. I much prefer this to an umbrella stroller which does not allow for much storage space underneath. The one button flat collapse is just as good if not better.

Let me start by saying I am a former nanny and am very familiar with many different styles of strollers, including some of the pricier brands. Because of it's versatility and high quality, this is hands down the best stroller! If I had to own one stroller, this would be it. It has the good qualities of both a big travel system and of an umbrella stroller, with none of the bad qualities of either.

I use this stroller mainly for getting to and traveling on public transportation, and it is perfect for this. I love that it is so light, easy to carry with one hand, and takes up little space on a crowded bus. Very easy to do the one-handed fold. I also LOVE that it stands upright on its' own when folded, so I don't have to juggle an awkward, leaning stroller (think folded umbrella stroller) along with my bag and my toddler while we are seated. This stroller is so light and sturdy that if I need to, I am also able lift it with my son and our stuff still in it up a couple of steps right onto the bus (and I am not necessarily a very big or strong person).

When you are getting around without a car, you have to CARRY everything, as there is no vehicle to hold your stuff. Needless to say, I am very thankful for the huge basket under this stroller. I was recently able to transport my son and everything the two of us needed for an overnight at a friend's house in this one stroller. No small feat. The basket is also the most accessible of any stroller I have ever seen. It is so easy to get to all your things, whether the child is seated in the stroller or not.

Being able to push with one hand is one of my favorite features. I can sip my tea, check a text on my phone, or fish for my son's snack in the diaper bag (which I hang over the handle) all without having to stop.

Had ours for at least 10 years of vigorous use, not sure if it is killable. Very durable, perfect set of features, very very good purchase. Highly recommended.

Considering having more children just to find out how long it will last.

I bought this product because I needed a stroller with more storage for a trip to Disney. This was a smart choice...My 4 year old fit in it fine and even my 8 year old sat in it occasionally. We loaded the basket with a packed soft cooler, small backpack and souvenirs. We hung a large bag from the back (but I would recommend one of those large clip things). It folds up easily and unfolds quickly. It was easy to push, the 8 year old would push it sometimes loaded with all the stuff and the 4 year old. We did not use the child tray but I love that it is optional/removable. I wish I had purchased this when my 8 year old was 2. I originally bought a Combi which cost a lot more, has no cup holder for you or the child and the storage basket is completely useless. This was a very good stroller...my friend is borrowing it for her trip to disney. I highly recommend!

I really wanted this to be the perfect lightweight "second" stroller for air travel with my baby. The price and weight are right and all the features are included (child tray, parent tray, canopy, storage) except this stroller DOES NOT recline. The reclining feature is a joke.

PROS
*Weight is no more than 12 lbs
*Most features are included so you don't have to spend more money for things like a cup holder
*One hold fold
*Easy to assemble (I managed and I never assemble anything)

CONS
*Does not recline - may be ok for short walks or if your child does not nap anymore in a stroller
*When you fold the stroller the child tray bangs on the floor quite forcefully
*The chile tray is quite high - once again ok if your child is bigger/older.

I ended up returning this stroller and I purchased the JOOVY Single Stroller for twice as much money and more weight but I think my baby will be much happier with an almost flat (149 degrees) reclining feature since she stills sleep most of the day and I don't want to be stuck in a hotel room all day long when we travel half-way across the world.
