Great walker for a reasonable price,
By A Kewl Mom in SoCal (Southern California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker-Fantasia (Baby Product)
I shopped around for about 8 months waiting for a decent walker and finally found this good-looking, practical, durable and safe product. I usually don't write reviews, but this tiny steps 3-in-1 walker is so great and well worth the wait, I had to share:-It is easily assembled and compresses for transport or for storage. (which we use frequently between grandparents home and ours.) -It has wonderful safety features. Such as, on flat, higher surfaces, it has a saftey feature that stops the walker before falling off the higher surface's edge. -It entertains your baby with entire songs and a variety of sounds that doesn't irritate. -The mini maestro is removable which makes room to put more toys or food in while your baby walks around. -It has good looking colors that attracts the baby's attention. -It easily moves forwards, backwards and makes smooth turns, so I don't have to stop what I'm doing to reposition the walker for the baby. -The price is well worth all that this product offers. These are the main features that have made my baby's time fun and my monitoring and interaction of the baby user-friendly.

Our daughter's favorite so far,
This review is from: Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker-Fantasia (Baby Product)
Note: I think I have a slightly older model than the one listed here because it doesn't bounce. However, that hasn't been an issue for us as our daughter seems to love her Tiny Steps just the way it is.We received a used Tiny Steps walker as a gift, and I decided to leave it at my mother's house so my almost 4-month-old daughter would have an upright entertainer to use during visits. At home, we have both a jumperoo and an exersaucer, and she will stay in those for maybe 5-10 minutes at the most before fussing to come out. (She seems to become fairly easily overwhelmed with lots of flashing lights and electronic sounds.) I figured the same would be true of the Tiny Steps, but boy, was I wrong! The first time I put her in the Tiny Steps (with the brakes on), she was delighted. Even with the music playing and the lights flashing on the Mini Maestro, she didn't become overwhelmed and would have happily stayed in as long as I was willing to allow it. Right now, we're only using it as a stationary entertainer with the brakes on; soon, though, once she becomes a bit stronger and more coordinated, we'll release the brakes and let her move around the house in it (under CLOSE supervision to prevent accidents). It doesn't seem to move as easily on rugs as on tile or hardwood floors, so it takes a bit more effort on the child's part to move the Tiny Steps over carpet. I must say that one of the things I like best about the Mini Maestro toy on the Tiny Steps is the way it has both electronic elements (electronic music, flashing lights) as well as "analog" elements (a steering wheel that makes a non-electronic "clack-clack" sound when turned, a horn that gives a non-electronic "honk" when pushed). Call me old-fashioned, but I'm not a fan of having everything be electronic, and I was delighted to see that my daughter's favorite thing to do so far with the Mini Maestro is turn the steering wheel to hear the clack-clack sound. Overall, while this toy doesn't have the kinds of bells and whistles of many of the exersaucers and other entertainers out there, I think that especially for a younger child it does an excellent job of capturing attention without being too overwhelming. The fact that the Mini Maestro can be removed for use as a separate toy and that the Tiny Steps converts into a walk-behind toy for toddlers only adds to its versatility and value.

Fantastic Walker,
This review is from: Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker-Fantasia (Baby Product)
My 8 month old grandson just loves his Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker with Mini Maestro. He is kept occupied with the sounds of music and colorful attached toys. It is very safe and I am sure as he gets a little older he will enjoy walking behind it. Don't know what I would have done without it when I have him 2 days a week. Great item for Grandmothers!

We love it!,

We just got this for our 5 month old daughter and we all love it! I don't know why the reviews aren't great. The only thing for us was that it wasn't able to move on carpet...easy fix though. we just took off the gliders on the bottom by unscrewing them...presto! it now works on the carpet great. She doesn't quite get how to "walk", but she amuses herself fine with the music, toys and lights. PLUS it converts to a stand up walker when your child is old enough, what a great value. It's a great activity and well worth a shot in my opinion.

My 10 month old son really likes this walker. He likes the music and also the toys. He also like to push the walker alot instead of sitting in the seat. I am very happy with this purchase.

mini maestro DANGER,

This review is from: Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker-Fantasia (Baby Product)
I purchased the tiny steps walker for my son and he instantly loved it. It has toys he can manipulate and it is easy to navigate the walker. I have a real concern however. The mini maestro has a steering wheel and a key, with musical buttons behind it. My son was not in the walker for more than 5 min. when he had turned the key in such a way that when he reached foward to press the musical buttons, his arm became solidly wedged between the key and steering wheel. I instantly removed the mini maestro from the walker and have since removed the key so he can still use it, but I caution anyone to do the same if this is the product they choose. The manufacturer noted my complaint but said they could do nothing as any replacement would be the same.

my son absolutely loves this walker. i have been told that they are dangerous, but this one cannot tip over easily and when he jumps up and down, it gives alittle, so he really enjoys it. i even feed him his lunch in it while he watches tv. you can take it in any room with you and they are always near. i think this is a great product.

My almost 1-yr-old tends to lose interest in most toys after a short period of time. Not the case with this one. He has enjoyed sitting in it, turning on the music and pushing himself around since he was around 5-months-old. Now he is starting to use it as a walk behind walker. I didn't even want a walker and received it as a gift - I'm so glad I did!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker-Fantasia (Baby Product)
I bought this item thinking that my 5mo old daughter would enjoy this, but she did not touch the floor and there is no height adjustments except for the seat, but it is only if your baby is getting bigger. She hated the fact that she could not touch the ground. I know that she is tall enough to use walkers and activity centers because she is in them all day at daycare. The mini maesro is wonderful and she loved when I would hit them and she would play with them. So I believe that this is a great toy for baby's that are longer or for maybe 7 mo's and up. (my baby is in the 50th % in height.)Just my opinion. Erica

Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker With Mini Maestro,
By
This review is from: Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker-Fantasia (Baby Product)
This product I honestly believe should be recalled!!! I have a 6 1/2 month old baby at home and we just bought one and brought it right back to the store... First of all, I must say that it is very colorful and I liked the features on it immensely! My little boy absolutely loved the music, lights and colors etc. However, and here's the big issue: the steering wheel is very close to the key on the top of the walker and my little boy got his wrist caught up in it several times to the degree of me worrying that we were not going to be able to release his arm from the two pieces!!! This is highly worrisome to me! I truly believe that the manufacturer needs to place the key further apart from the steering wheel and I wouldn't be surprised if this product was indeed pulled from the market! I would just like to warn other parents against purchasing this product due to the hazards of getting body parts stuck in the product!!!!!
