I bought this measuring glass to use after bariatric surgery in Nov, 2009. I was supposed to drink 2 oz. every 15 minutes, and this little glass came in very handy. It has metric and US measurements clearly printed on the glass. It measures in ounces, mililiters, teaspoons and tablespoons. It looks to hold about 4 tablespoons to the brim. It is also a very heavy duty little glass...very substantial. I don't think it would break very easily, if dropped. You could also use it for liquor measurements for cocktails. A great all-around little glass. Highly recommend!

It would be a great product if only the markings didn't come off so easily. Note: I have only hand washed mine, not sure how it would hold up in the dishwasher.
Also, it's way over priced on Amazon... go to your local wally-world and pay $2 (the markings won't last very long, so that's all it really worth anyway). Would love to find a 2 oz version with quality markings (like Pyrex). Still searching...

I love this little measuring device- I'm kind of a clutz sometimes and when I measure any small amount of liquid it's hard not to spill with a measuring spoon. Everyone should have one of these!

Works okay, and certainly feels sturdy. However, when I purchased this item in January 2010, it was advertised as "dishwasher safe". It is not (and apparently isn't advertised that way any longer). About ten months into the life of the measuring glass, the markings started coming off. After 14 months of light use, they are gone and the glass is no longer useful as a measuring device.

It's less than $6, so it's not hugely expensive or anything. Just know that it's not going to last you very long.

I find these little glass measurers truly convenient and accurate, as opposed to fumbling around with measuring spoons. They are heat tolerant--for example, draining hot bacon fat to reserve a tablespoon or 2 for saute. They work in the bar as well as the kitchen.

I bought this here, because I had never seen it before and figured it was a good price, but then I saw it at Walmart for $2, so I paid like 4x the price.

I use this all the time! Not so much to measure but to take herbs or probiotics or other medicines in small amounts. Just the right size, plus it's really cute so it makes me happy when I use it. Have used it for 2 years with no paint chipping problems.

Bought these to replace plastic medicine cups that have a ridge inside that makes them next to impossible to completely clean.
These measuring shot glasses work perfectly, can be thrown in dishwasher, and no struggle to clean annoying corners/ridges anymore. Will probably buy a few more just to have extras on hand. Oh, and the printed measures on them do NOT come off in the dishwasher, which is a definate plus.

I was without my mini measure for a time and missed it every time I was in the kitchen. These little guys are a must have!
