4.0 out of 5 stars Nifty little tank =)
I got this little kit for my crown-tail betta Zurich. I think it's a fantastic little tank if you stock it correctly and know how to work with nano systems.

Granted for most if not all suitable fish you will need a heater, as the tank design causes anything on the rear wall to be magnified I opted for a small 7.5 watt under gravel heater, it works like a charm...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not horrible, but I wouldn't recommend it
This kit, with the addition of an appropriate heater and a thermometer, is adequate for a betta, but I can't think of any other fish that could really do well here. And really, I prefer to give my bettas more horizontal space to move around. Additionally, the air pump makes that filter go crazy, so I'd suggest getting an adjustment valve to reduce the flow. I use this tank for a planted set up and could only be happier if it came with a small internal filter rather then the UGF, but whatcha gonna do? It's not a big deal to me since I'm familiar with them from previous years of fish keeping. I've posted a picture with more information on my setup in the photo section as well.

It's been running for 3 weeks and so far I have not had any issues with bacterial blooms (cloudy water) or regular cleaning and water changes. If you have any questions feel free to comment, I'll be happy to answer =)

This tank is awesome and it's absolutely beautiful, you mustinvest in this. It's easy to put together and the different color light settings is the best I've seen. It's very quiet and my 3 fancy guppies love it - this is a must have if you are looking for a small tank.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brillent Aquariun, July 18, 2009

This is a great aquarium but I would recommend investing in a small filter system to keep it clean and the undergravel filter is not a filter at all its a plastic bottom with small holes in it. I honestly haven't figured out the use or reason for it. It doesn't seem to be doing anything extra. That being said the colors are very cool all though I am not able to get the green one, the red, blue, yellow, orange, and purple are very nice and cool to look at plus its enough light to see my fish at night but not enough to bother them like a regular light does.

The tank itself and the lid are flimsy and aren't even that attractive in real life. If I were to set this tank up again, it would probably be to breed snails, since they can utilize the vertical space.

My betta loves this aquarium. I recently upgraded him from the 2 gallon version of this same unit to the 3 gallon one. He has so much more room now! The tank is easy to maintain and clean. The lighting never fails to impress my guests. The UGF seems to work very well and the water is always clear due to the water circulation it creates. The only complaint I have with the aquarium is that it is sometimes hard to find my betta due to the curved surface but that is the case with any round aquarium.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not that good, but OK, June 13, 2011
This review is from: KollerCraft AQUARIUS AquaView 360 Aquarium Kit with LED Light - 3-Gallon (Misc.)
The tank is amazing to hold many different types of fish! I also love the LED light that you can change colors on to make it more pretty. I also love the 360 design, and how the pump makes nice bubbles.

BUT... Cleaning it is a huge pain. The plastic, when you pick it up to dump out some of the water, it is very flimsy and pushes the water out when you carry it. Therefore, causing a lot of water to go everywhere. You also can't carry it that far because it is so heavy. Oh, and no matter how high the water is in it, it always spills out a ton if you even just barely bump it with your arm, or hand.

After about a month of this, I just said screw it and got rid of it. I now have a 4-gallon bowl that is very easy to clean, and works much better.

DONT GET THIS , unless you want water everywhere, and want to take up way more time cleaning the stupid thing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little tank, November 30, 2009
This review is from: KollerCraft AQUARIUS AquaView 360 Aquarium Kit with LED Light - 3-Gallon (Misc.)
The undergravel filter IS a legit filter - it's bascially a bio filter and the bacteria grows on the gravel.

To the person using it for a goldfish - please do some research on goldfish this is NOT an appropriate goldfish tank!

This is a great gift for a little one who loves to look at fish. Desined for goldfish predominantly since it does not have a heater but has an LED nightlight that changes color and will provide endless enjoyment. Only three gallons so it is easy to keep clean. Also a great office idea for that person that has everything...

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Impressed!, April 18, 2012

This review is from: KollerCraft AQUARIUS AquaView 360 Aquarium Kit with LED Light - 3-Gallon (Misc.)
I got more than I expected with this tank! I opened the box and it was well organized. The tank took me about twenty minutes to set up, add rocks, and water.
It came with the tank (obviously), the air pump, the ug (under gravel) filter, and the LED lights. Everything was a good quality and the tube has a fish protector so your fish can't go in and get hurt.
I did research and learned that ug filters aren't the most affective and best so I bought a second filter to add in, It'll keep my tank more clean.
The different color LED lights are beautiful! they obviously aren't as dark as the pictures shown, but they're so pretty!
I absolutely recommend this for people looking for a beginner tank. It's clear and it looks quite classy.
It also comes with a sample of water conditioner and fish food. :) Recommend this to anyone looking for a nice fish tank!

3.0 out of 5 stars Alright..., December 21, 2011
This review is from: KollerCraft AQUARIUS AquaView 360 Aquarium Kit with LED Light - 3-Gallon (Misc.)
this tank is okay. It looks neat when it is set up. I did have to clean it ALOT. I had one beta in there, he was very happy little fish. I thought the full circle tank would be cool, but it ended up being a pain in the butt. because the under gravel filter system isn't a filter system, and i had to clean it a lot. It was a pain in the but to get him out of the tank because its round, he was hard to catch in the net....also, because it was a round tank and the bubbler thing comes up the middle, i felt like it wasn't very roomy for him...LOL my fish is spoiled....it doesn't work well with a heat either, so you need a low maintance fish that can survive without a heater!
Overall its a good starter tank. I ended up getting rid of it after a year and half, it was to much of a pain in the butt. I ended up getting a 180 degree view 3.5 gallon tank to replace it, and my little beta is as happy as can be.
