I am not one to follow all instructions so I bought this seat so that I could ride with my husband and 18 month old daughter when my family goes on trail rides. It is too difficult to drive and hold her and not secure enough to just hold on to my husband. This seat was a perfect solution. Didn't see the U-bolts in the box at first but after purchasing more we did find them. Installation was pretty straightforward on my Grizzly 600 and we were up and riding in no time. The seat was quite comfortable on straight roads and uphill however on the downhills I found myself sliding off as the pad is a good 1-1 1/2 inches thick. My 7 year old son and 9 year old daughter had no problem staying in the seat (must be their smaller size). The back is quite roomy. Stores 2 chest protectors, 2 helmets, kidney belts, gloves, and still room to spare. Held a nice size cooler along with a days supplies including sweatshirts while we were riding. The arm rests do not open as some and might have been a nice improvement however it is extremely weather proof. After our weekend camping I did learn that if I fold up the bottom of the seat or remove it I was sitting on the actual 4 wheeler seat and had no problems not sliding around. Wouldn't really recommend it for "lounging" however due to the angle of the seat. Extremely comfy for riding however not a recliner. You won't be sorry you invested in this!

This storage box/extra seat is exactly what we were looking for. It is well made, easy to install and works exactly as the manufacturer says. Good product.

Bought this seat after reading up on this one and many others, and having the headaches of buying a cheap one for my old bike. The seat looks good on the bike, and the storage space is amazing! I have room for my tool box, power inverter, and can still fit two helmets. The seat is very comfortable and the arm rests/grips work very well. The overall quality of this seat is very good compared to some that I have seen that cost more money. One suggestion I have if you want to keep the dust out is to use calking where you drill the holes for the 'C' clamps, and run weather striping around the access door.

I originally found this lounger on Cabella's website, for right around the same price. I decided to order from Amazon instead because of the fast and free shipping. I received the lounger within a week of ordering, and it was boxed up with no damage. It took a little time figuring out where the holes needed to be drilled for the fit on my four-wheeler; all racks aren't the same, so I couldn't follow the picture on the instructions. I used all four of the U-bolts for now, and they have held up very well. I read that some people had used extra bolts for safetys concern, but I see no reasoning to use more. The storage in this lounger is pretty amazing. Along with two adult helmets, you can also squeeze in a lot of extra items inside as well; it really has the most storage I have seen on any lounger. The cushions are very comfortable, and I actually prefer sitting right on the four-wheeler seat rather than on the extra few inches of cushion. The only uncomfortable part I have found thus far are the arm rests; they are formed right into the hard plastic, with no sort of cushion or comfort to rest your arm on. However, I don't believe that slight inconvenience is worth rating less than 5 starts. I would still recommend this to all my friends for the comfort and extra storage space.

I bought this seat for my lady for when we go on rides because i know i don't riding on a rack and would want some back support. She had mixed reviews but thats expected if you know what i mean. What was unexpected is that i figured i'd have to take it off around deer season but i've found it useful for holding all my stuff when i go to hang stands so everything doesn't go rolling off when hit a bump or rut. I've never rode in the seat but the seat pad isn't a mattress but is pretty mud and dirt resistant once you give it a spray off. Attaching it to the rack was fairly simple but i did add 2 extra sets on u-bolts to the very front to make sure it doesn't recline. Worth the money??? If it last 10 years to me it will be and it seems well built out of good material so barring any accident and being garage kept i think it will.

While obviously not the top-of-the-line product, this item provided good quality for the dollar and works well for our needs.

I have had the seat for a few weeks now and have used it three times and it seems to be a great product. One thing I did was went to Home Depot and got large washers to replace the plate that comes with the U-bolts to make it a little stronger. I think it would have worked just fine as is though. Sturdy seat for the price!

Can be a bit challenging to attach to your rear rack. I used plywood to form a base and then used large washers and bolts to attach. U bolts were not good for my rack.

This is a good product and works well, pleanty of room to carry the things on a long ATV ride.
