The Komelon tape is well made and works without any problems. I was specifically looking for a tape that pulled out and locked, requiring a button press to release. Stanley used to make a decent tape with this function but the newer version just isn't as good as my old one, so I looked for a new one from a different manufacturer. This is my first Komelon, and I'm happy with it. I would buy another in this size, and maybe I'll try one in a 25' or 30' model when one of my many others wears out (I like to have several so I don't have to go searching for one when needed).
