Product Description

An excellent balance of price and performance, Komperdell Highlander Cork trekking poles are built for backpacking or hiking. The aluminum poles provide the stability and balance needed for confident on and off-trail hiking. Three telescoping sections are constructed of a sturdy aluminum alloy. The hiqh-frequency welded and drawn tubes are strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Ergonomic cork grips include integrated woven straps that help to reduce stress on your wrists. A pair of Vario trekking baskets is included for improved traction. Optional winter and deep powder baskets (sold separately) are available to convert Highlander Cork poles for use in snow and on ice. Tungsten/carbide flex tips are designed to flex if the tip of the pole should get stuck, helping to protect the shafts from structural damage. Komperdell Highlander Cork poles are sold in pairs.
