Our 23 pound medium golden doodle manages to destroy all stuffed toys, so we were excited to hear about this toy as it sounded more durable. However, she managed to pull apart the nose and pull all the stuffing out in under 30 minutes. So it's not as durable as it seemed. Great toy though, but it's not a toy for aggressive chewers.

My miniature dachshund can usually destroy a toy like this one in a couple of hours but this thing really lasts. I was worried about the Velcro closure but it seems to be really strong, she still has not managed to get the squeaker out. AND it comes with an extra squeaker which is a big plus in my book. Definitely worth the price. This toy is even better in real life and has a mix of textures for dogs to chew on. For example underneath the duck's "wings" is a sheepskin type of fabric. Fun.

I recently purchased a few of these nearly indestructible toys for our beagle and our american bulldog puppy. They play very rough with these little animals, including playing tug with them several times a day, and they are still in one piece!! I love that they don't have any stuffing in them, so there are no white fluffy pieces flying around my house after a day of play! Plus the extra squeakers that come with each animal are a huge help! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

Our little dachshund is a serious chewer. She can destroy most toys within a couple days. She loves this Kong chew toy and has not been able to chew through it or rip it. The squeaker inside is soft enough that her small jaw can get payoff by making it squeak, yet durable enough that she doesn't chew through it. I would definitely buy these again.

I bought this toy for my dog on a whim (because I wanted to get free shipping) and so far it has been great. She is a small dog so it is just the right size for her. Also, unlike many of her other toys, she has not destroyed it yet. It also comes with an extra squeaker that you can put into the back of the toy if the other one breaks (there is velcro that you open to put it in). So far so good!

Cute toy, but...I have a mini dachshund and she isn't that aggressive a chewer but after a while she tore this thing to pieces. She ripped the arm off and after that we had to throw it away. It's a good toy if your dog is out of the teething stages maybe and tends not to destroy everything, I like that I could wash it and easily replace the squeaker.

I bought a few of these toys and each one of them my Teacup Chihuahua who weighs in at 4 pounds has taken the stuffing out of them all.One or two of them she had the stuffing out in less than a day the others in a week.
She still enjoys the outter shell of these toys and for that I give it 3 stars.

Being able to replace the squeaker is a great idea and works well! My terrier apparently didn't like the feel or texture of the velcro closer and and proceeded to remove the velcro from 3 different toys.

My dog would choke to death on this product. I can't believe that no where do you say how tiny it is.

I will return for FULL credit.

These toys are among the best plush dog toys out there, and we've tried several. I don't think any are truly "indestructible" since there's always a dog somewhere that will defy that claim, but these are well made and worth buying for the majority of dogs. Just be *sure* to buy the size that suits your dog; don't buy one too small that can be swallowed easily! Dr. Noys' toys are great in that they always include an extra squeaker in the pack, and the toy squeaker is easily replaceable in its hidden velcro pouch. (Squeakers are not indestructible; that's why they include an extra. But the advantage here is that they are very secure, and can't be eaten.) You can even buy separate packages of squeakers if your dog is tough on plush toys. Or you can remove the squeaker if it drives you crazy! ;-) In the larger sizes you can replace the squeaker with a tennis ball for active dogs.

Pay attention to the sizes listed: extra-small is really small, best for only the tiniest toy breeds or for small puppies. Medium will work for most dogs, but if your dog is a shredder, loves to destroy plush toys, only get the large sizes. If you have certain breeds, like Staffordshire terriers and bull dogs, then perhaps another toy would be a wiser choice. You know your dog.

So if you're tired of buying so-called "dog toys" that are really glorified baby toys and easily destroyed, try these. Ours have lasted for two years with hard play, only replacing the squeakers. Even better, they're usually included in the Amazon 4-for-3 promotion, so you can get one free if you buy four (smaller sizes)! That way you can test out different designs, or save one for later. Highly recommended!
