Dogs love to play with the Kong Wubba. Its long tails make it easy for you to pick up and throw. Your dog will fetch the Wubba and run back with the toy’s flapping tails shaking back and forth. The fun interactive toss-and-tug Wubba is made with durable reinforced nylon that covers 2 balls: a tennis ball on top and a squeaker ball beneath. Available in 1 size. Spend plenty of outdoor time with your best friend and help him exercise at the same time.
Product Description
KONG Wubba is a fun, interactive toss and tug toy. Durable reinforced nylon fabric covers two rubber balls - a tennis ball on top and a squeaker ball beneath.
Our son is a vet tech in a 24 hour emergency clinic, he works primarily in surgery and ICU. If you heard the cases and saw the photos of pieces of dog toys that can be easily swallowed during what we think is normal play or chew time you would think carefully about the toys you buy for your dogs. Dogs have much more powerful jaws and teeth than we seem to think. Even my Shetland Sheepdog went through this wubba toy in less than an hour just chewing on it. My Golden swallowed a bit of chewed wubba and after 2 weeks of being a very sick dog and $2400 in vet bills later he finally passed the "slow moving foriegn mass" that almost killed him. It amazes me how flimsey and not at all safe most dog toys are. Even tennis balls that we all think are great dog toys, my son has removed wads of the fuzzy coating from stomachs and intestines in emergency surgeries, the greenies that are suppose to be good for their dental health, turn to rubbery blobs that won't pass through their intestines and squeekers can cause more problems than you might think. Not everything your dog swallows will end up on the lawn, things lodge, imbed themselves or puncture stomaches and intestines. Be careful in choosing dog toys, you wouldn't buy a toy for your child that could be swallowed, take the same care for your dogs remembering that a dog can turn something into pieces so easily. Vet care is expensive even for healthy pets who are only going in for regular preventative care, the medical care there is the same technology to care for us humans which is why it costs just as much as it would for you and I to get a piece of plastic or rubber or a metal squeeker surgically removed from where it imbedded in our gut. I was silly enough to think that the Kong name meant this toy was safe. It is not safe, it should not be on the market.

I bought one of these for my St. Bernard, and failed to heed the "Supervised Play Only" warning on the label, 2 hrs later the toy was in tatters. These toys obviously aren't meant to be durable enough for long term chewing, but even the shreds of this toy are by far my dog's favorite toys.
Buy this toy and play _with_ your dog, but take it away when play time is over

This review is from: Kong Wubba Dog Toy, Colors may Vary (Misc.)
I just bought a Wubba for my 9-month old Dobie mix last night, and she loves it...she played with it for two hours straight. However, she already ate through the outer fabric on top (I can see the green ball inside) and starting eating the fringes. So, I'm going to have to throw it away tonight. It's too bad that the material isn't more durable. I would highly recommend this toy ONLY for dogs that don't typically destroy their toys and like to chew and eat non-food items.
