I bought this mug for my brother's 6th birthday - and he LOVES it! It works wonderfully and wipes cleanly. It really does act just like a chalkboard, without the uncomfortable texture, and no "nails on the chalkboard" sounds. Pretty much any chalk works; it's very thick and sturdy-feeling, and has done just well in the microwave. I absolutely LOVE this mug, and so does the rest of my family. They're all very jealous and want one of their own :)

I bought these for my 3 yr old and my 5 yr old. They loved them. I wasn't surprised that my 16 yr old wanted one of her own. Very nice mugs.

We bought 4 of these mugs for ourselves and company. Have been having so much fun coming up with different comments to fit the occasion,whatever it it is. Thease have inspired a LOT of creativity! The size is perfect and the cups are very well made. Great gift idea!

I got this as a gift for my friend. The cup arrived unharmed but the included stick of chalk was snapped.

It is easy to write on the cup with chalk but I can't comment on how easy it is to wash it off. It didn't seem like it'd be difficult though.

The cup is also microwaveable.

A great buy!Well packed...perfect size of a medium hot coffee.. wipes clean and a must have if you relish your coffee times very much.A quick tic-tac-toe or sudoku are easy during coffee!
A perfect gift to a friend or colleague.

I like this mug a lot. A nice standard sized/shaped mug, and not too expensive either. The only issue i have though, is when I stir my drink, the spoon scrapes the side, which feels just like a chalk board. I'm just concerned that this might eventually wear/damage the blackboard paint

....with personality. I purchased this as a gift for a friend who was just going off to college... and it is great! It is cute an fun and, of course, it holds liquids.

It does come with chalk, which was awesome because I was able to write a message on it before I mailed it to her.

Was all set to order this when the price more than doubled. I believe this kind of behavior by sellers is unethical and I choose not to give them my business. Fortunately I can pick this up from other sellers on Amazon and other sites.

SO IRRITATED. I ordered this for a friend as a Christmas gift. It arrived today COMPLETELY destroyed. The mug comes in it's own flimsy box with lots of breathing room. The mug box is placed in a bigger Amazon box with a few air bubble packs. Obviously that's not sufficient.

I wouldn't be surprised if half the mugs ordered arrive like that around this time of year, when drivers are so packed with deliveries. With the way it was packed, even dropping the box once would have broken the mug.

This isn't the first time I've ordered something that ships directly from Amazon and arrives destroyed. EVERY time I order something even remotely breakable this happens. They don't seem to care about their products enough to package them properly.

Never again.
