These are well made mugs. The primary reason I purchased them is that I like a CUP of coffee, not one of these 16 to 20 oz bowls or vases with handles that so many people drink now. These are a great size and the proportions are right all around. Real sturdy and great looking. Buy if you enjoy hot beverages in reasonable amounts.

Durable and They Look Nice,

I've had a set of these for several years now mixed in with all of the mismatched coffee cups/mugs that have accumulated in the cabinet over the years. These are always the ones I grab for first. I think they have a very classic modern style - Not too heavy, not too dainty, with a slightly taller, slightly narrower profile. They feel nice in your hand. I am no expert on porcelain, but the quality on these seems very good. None of these cups have broken or even chipped and as I stated, I've had them for several years and use them daily. You're probably not going to bust out these mugs when the Queen of England comes to visit, but as a set of coffee mugs for everyday use, I think these are better than average. I recommend them.

These cups are very top heavy and tip over easily. A better choice would be 12 oz. This tipping happens mainly when moving, like on a tray.
